  • It was one of those fishing days you dream of. Everything went to plan. We set out under the Golden Gate Bridge in hopes of fishing for king salmon and california halibut. While fishing for halibut we did a catch and cook on the boat with the salmon we caught just a hour earlier. Teriyaki salmon belly skewers were on the menu. You are going to want to try this for yourself! Double limits for my friend Ahmed and I of Salmon and Halibut!!

That video was also a great help in how you set things up, thank you. My fishing partner and I took an older boat out for our first try at open water fishing. We have no fish finder so it was dumb luck and we targeted Lings and rockfish. We did well, with two limits of rockfish, and three nice Lings. My friend released one Ling. Next trip out we would like to give Salmon and Halibuts a try. As I said, you are a big help!!

@@ChrisPfish2 let your oil get hot first before you throw the salmons on it so you can sear it. You could have been marinating the salmons in your soy sauce while you were going for halibut. Just technique stuff, I’m sure it’s amazing regardless, that salmon is stupid fresh, and I probably sound like an asshole. But we can do better

I don’t understand why you measure the halibut after you’ve already took them out them water with the hook stick…so wouldn’t they die if they weren’t a keeper ?
