I see you got it fixed. Awesome! I just found you channel and now I'm subscribed. I'm a solo rock artist using Cubase 13 Pro. Haven't upgraded and am also subbed to Chris and Warren. I have a lot of songs on SoundCloud under the name of jeremykeys. Hope you don't mind a self plug. I'm looking forward to more of your videos and I have to go check out your previous ones. After I finish some tracks I'm into right now. You know how it is! I think I'm going to have to check out some Black Rooster plugins too.
Hey Brother thank you so much for watching the video responding and especially subscribing to my channel. Happy to meet another person who is tied to both Chris and Warren. I like to see I'm good friends with both of them they might say different lol. And it's very cool that you told me about your music journey. If you're ever interested I also do interviews with musicians producers basically anything music oriented. I would love to hear your whole journey through music. I hope you find something else useful with my other videos. I will say cb14 is worth the extra $99 it cost right now. Thanks again much appreciate ya.
my black rooster plugins works fine, by default cubase 14 disables VST 2 plugins but you can re-enable them in the vst plugin manager and turn on vst 2
First off thank you for responding and watching the video. I didn't know anything about the vs2 area until a gentleman wrote me here on this video. As soon as I clicked on the vst2 button my black rooster audio plugins showed up. I'm once again a happy camper. I did a video soon after explaining where to find the VST2 so hopefully others and see it and have things fixed as well. Thanks again much appreciated
Hey thank you for the response and watching the video. I had a response above from a gentleman that pointed me into an area in the plug-in manager which I did a video that shows you can use VST2 plugins now. Here's the video link if you like to watch. ruclips.net/video/Dv0Ubk2-wzI/видео.htmlsi=DK-mAl2r3QhdwQvB
I too had the problem having some of my plugins did not load and could not be found in CUBASE 14 even if I could be found and fully working witin CUBASE 13 that I tried before I desided to upgrade from my PRO 9 to PRO 13.. BUT THEN..I came across someone that pointed out that in CUBASE 14 it BY DEFALT do not connect and active VST 2 plugins.. BUt in the VST manager it could still be put into activation mood. And now everything works fine and great.
First off thank you for watching and responding to my video. Soon after I posted this video and gentleman and mentioned the area of vst2 in the plug-in manager. I went to it clicked on it and voila everything is there. That same day I did this video I quickly did another video explaining or people could find this fix. I'm happy for you that things worked out in the VST2 area as well.
My Black Rooster "Magnetite" saturator works great! Maybe its the exception to the rule? But, I need to ask, have you enabled the vst2 in Cubase14? In the plugin manager window at the bottom...
@@rasolzamini8678 hey that's good to know because I'm sure there are a lot of folks that are still on Windows 10. I just upgraded this last Christmas to Windows 11 pro and I have to say it's been smooth so far from me. Thank you for watching and responding 💪
I ran into the same problem with some other manufactures and then found the solution on the Cubase Forums - pretty retarded of Steiny for this workaround instead of scanning the plugs and VSTis during installation and then allowing the user to opt-in for the VST2 bypass but we all know why they did it this way, right?
Hey thanks for watching and responding. Please elaborate on why you think they did what they did. I really appreciate it. But I'm guessing it's to force the third party manufacturers to move to the Future of vst3. I reached out to BRA to tell them about this area inside Cubase 14. They replied yes I see the issue we do not have vst3. Which I found really strange because I thought they did. Anyways I'm just excited that I can use my black rooster audio plugins again 💪🙂
@@ohstudiousa Sure, no problem - by killing off VST2 support they no longer have to deal with compatibility issues with their support team which I'm sure is a major support effort but a cost-savings to them nonetheless and by not having a real user-beta program, Steiny can put out these measly interim rollouts disguised as version upgrades. But hey, I can move my channels around now so there's that, lol.
Same. VST Plugin Manager, turn on VST2.
Thank you for responding and yes easy fix once I knew where to look. 💪

You probably have a vst2 plugin. Steinberg won't support vst2 anymore. By defaut vst2 will be disable. You can still enable in the plugin manager.

Thanks for the response and watching. No I haven't did know anything about it. I'll try it out. Thank you
Bigger problem is that they will stop windows 10 from next update so cubase 14 is the last update for window 10

@dankenton lol, thank you for expanding and I think your dead on correct 💪
@@ohstudiousa My pleasure - I've never tried Black Rooster products - how are they CPU-wise? t
@@dankenton they are great quality plugins and sound amazing. Some are a little CPU heavy but for the most part they're about average.
