Trying to balance working and living in the van for the first time in over 12 months has definitely been a learning curve for us but we feel like we're getting the balance right, don't you?!

awesome video guys, wheres next on the travels? any plans to explore england or scotland before going abroad again?
We had planned to spend some time up in Scotland over the summer but the summer never seemed to come.. so we're out in France now but Scotland is definitely not off our list!
Save yourselves some cash next time you park on a Sunday guys...most city centres have nearby unrestricted parking on single yellow lines. For example, Craven Street, just off Sanvey Gate.....less than 5 minute walk to the climbing centre you visited.

Love this, I'm 24 and I am looking into living in a van and getting a gym membership for 24/7 shower etc.

I think if your workplace doesn't offer shower facilities having a gym membership is a great idea. Cheap rent, Cheap house ;)

Hi there! I wonder if you could help me clear up few things about Van Life in UK. Does your van need to be registered under RV license plate or it’s ok as commercial vehicle plate? Another question is, can you just park and sleep on the street or Tesco Parking lot or where are the places are safe to spend a night ? Cheers!
Hi! It's easier to insure and tax your van if you have changed the v5 so the van is classed as a motorhome. It's also cheaper to take the ferry!
It's much more difficult to find good (free) places in the UK, I'm not sure about Tescos car park I think they might move you on pretty quickly. But pubs and restraunts on the road are sometimes good if you go in, buy a beer and some food and just talk to them and ask if you can spend the night. Also there is an app called park4night that helps massively.
Being aware of your surroundings and respectful to who might be around is super important for us and we just have to be happy to be moved on and find somewhere else if needs be!
