I used to deliver sheds up to 10x24 with a 33000gvw truck with a 22' tilt bed. Who ever designed that trailer was genius.

Are these sheds in the traditional sense or do people actually live in them or both? I can see how some could be converted into tiny homes and would be a cheap alternative to renting or buying if you have the land to put it on. Not sure I’d want to live in z trailer park, but you do what you have to I guess. We don’t really have these in the UK. We have holiday homes by popular resorts which are very similar that people rent for a week or two and some I assume live there. From London, UK

@@1972dsrai these here being repo,d are sheds and people aren't the outright owners so it's technically not supposed to be lived in or turned into a house. But after you pay for it fully you can convert them for livable condition

@@joewoodchuck3824 that sounds like it would be cool. I assume usually you build some type of foundation for the sheds first before they’re delivered right?
@@J_GoTTi Crushed stone base to extend a certain distance beyond the shed and a certain depth. Either 12" or 18" wide around the perimeter. I don't recall which. This is to keep moisture down so the lumber doesn't rot. I see any number of sheds up on cement blocks here in the south. A big nono. The blocks sink into the ground resulting in uneven support. They can also tilt sideways. If the ground isn't level you have to bring the low spots up so the top is level. That usually involves framing the low area which confines the stone from spreading everywhere. Either 4x4s or 6x6s for framing. The shed company will do a limited amount of minor adjustments for levelling. It isn't cheap to do, but it's necessary.
My two delivered sheds were in the north. My current house already had a nice shed. It's up on good proper buried piers because the ground was way too steep to fill in.
A reputable shed company is worth any extra money.

I could imagine a guy with a shotgun walking out of it daring him to take it and the police then being called and someone getting shot/cuffed or both. Sorry, from London, UK with a certain stereotype in my head about who lives there.
I don’t know how he does it. I would be shaking in my boots and fearing getting shot.
@@1972dsraimaybe some I lived in a trailer park for nearly 24 years had great neighbors, it’s not all like that. Some good people and neighbors still live in trailers.

Idk why I find it interesting too. I think it's because I know I would not be able to do this. The carefulness, skill, and patience. I just simply wouldn't have all 3.

Man, the margin on those sheds must be pretty slim. By the time they buy the materials, pay someone to knock them together, then pay you to deliver them the profit margin must be fairly tight, let alone when they have to pay you to drive all the way out, repo them and then haul them back to the yard only to hope the original renter didn't damage them so much no one else will consider taking the shed again. You do great work and if you ever get tired of this line of work you would make an excellent LEO because you sure have the patience for dealing with the crazy drama in a calm and collected way.

I just never thought you could have a market for leasing yard sheds? Seems a little predatory in nature… If you need a finance loan for a small tool shed then I bet the default rate is more than 80%.
I wonder how many times these units are sold and repoed on the average? That’s the angle of this business.
We have lived in RV's for going on 6 years. Ill be the first to admit you really need to put a lot of effort into staying away from the drama..... Some people just go looking for it.

I live in a double wide in a very nice park. I pretty much stay to myself on my days off.

The shed looks like it cost more than mobile home. i understand some could only afford a mobile home but it's free to keep it clean.

What an awful job. Reminds of doing flooring audits where I would be out in the rain all day trying to keep tablet dry and functioning, and that was in Washington state. Wet, wet, wet.

I bought a 10x20 duel lofted shed and ir was only $134 a month for 5yrs for a total $7k if I'm not mistaken. I just paid it off thank God. But they have went above & beyond to help me keep it, I'm sure that this company would have with these ppl too if they just would've been open & honest to begin with.

Isn’t that cool how it looked like the shed was going to come on the trailer at an angle but the trailer is able to simply be slid over a bit. Whomever designed this thing must have been in every bind and said, I am going to build a trailer to make this easier.
