@MaxTechOfficial Hi Bro i have iPhone 13 128 gb basic model but i am considering upgrade to Pro models and i am wondering between 15 Pro Max and 14 Pro Max,besides you which is better choice in my case, can you give me advice ??
I think only real Apple enthusiasts are upgrading every year and they will continue to do so regardless of what each new version brings. For the rest I think they are upgrading from a phone that is at least a few years old and so they are getting a pretty big jump to the 15’s.
True, but like some people comments here, they scored 14 Pro’s for less than the price of a regular iPhone 15. That’s where these videos bring lots of value which is why my conclusion was that way.
I upgraded from my 13 pro max, photos are definitely a noticeable upgrade and phone feels lighter. The biggest upgrade for me was how much better reception I have now
I went from the 11 to the 14 Pro a few months ago as my 11 couldn't hold out any longer. I was wary that I would be missing out with the 15.. But honestly, aside from the USB-C charging, the 14 pro is working great for me and do not feel I'm missing out on much
I also came from the 11 and now i have the 14 pro. I love this phone very much! I dont very like the new 15 pro colors and titanium. Bc it can break easily. So i am glad i upgraded to the 14 pro!
Same here, Ill just wait for the IPhone 16, not sure why Apple thinks they have to be putting out a phone every year specially when the differences are minimal.
Not lying my iPhone 14pro max called 911 gave my location when a road hazard caused me to drive drive off a 30ft cliff and rolled over countless times. Emts drs and nurses were so shocked I was just hurt externally with cuts and bruises but no brain or skull fractures or fractures everywhere and took my blood no internal bleeding and my phone ended up flying pretty far from the scene and there was no cracks no broken screen protector problems. We both survived lol and I’m grateful for my phone because I pulled my bloody self out of the sunroof and ems was right there
14 Pro Max 💜GANG. I’ll upgrade when they stop supporting software for this device. 🖤🧡🖤🧡 I got like 5+ years. I’ll do a Battery Replacement in like 1.5/2 years. I’m at 90% ish but Shortcuts Battery Indicator says 87% so it’s going down for sure more than normal… Hopefully overtime software & a replacement keeps it lovely and lively. 💜🖤
I bought two 1TB 15 Pro iPhones (and an Apple Watch Ultra 2) on release day and neither have had overheating or excessive battery usage issues. It doesn't seem to be an issue across the board. Mine was an upgrade from 6S Plus and my partners was from an X so both of us seeing big improvements over our old phones. I'm more than happy with mine and don't regret the purchase.
@@stephenprice7502 should I go with 128 gb or 256 gb memory? Nowadays I use just 70gb but I am quite in doubt because I pretend to use my new phone for at least 3 or 4 years
Everyone is misunderstanding the correlation between titanium and heat build up. If the titanium were causing the heat to build up then the surface temperature of the iphone would be lower. But it’s not. a hotter surface means the heat is leaving the phone
I took a look at a table of thermal conductivity coefficients. One needs to consider the alloy that is actually used. It turns out that across different alloys, titanium has a higher thermal conductivity coefficiet overall though there are certain steel alloys that have a noticeably higher thermal conductivity coefficient.
While the 15 pro max has some minor improvements to the camera, as a 14 pro max owner having now looked at several comparisons , it appears in some instances the 14 holds its own very well and occasionally is still a tad better than the 15 , and the lens flares , I’ve seen a ton of pics from 15’s , and imo it’s still pretty average and if it is better than the 14 , it’s only very marginally better , and less than good imo. The bit of titanium around the edge just does nothing for me, I like the square edged previous models, and the fact that the new models glass are probably more likely to crack in a drop than the previous ones just makes the 15 pro max a hard sell when all is considered imo. Hopefully Apple does better next year.
I upgraded to the 15 pm from my 14 pro max and I can tell you that the cameras are noticeable improved on almost every pic you may take. They are just better on the 15PM…lens flare is still there but not near as much as was on the 14pm…everything about the 15PM is just better than the 14PM, as it should be, even if just marginally… if you think ANY upgrade is going to be life changing, mind boggling, amazing at this juncture in smartphones then you are simply waiting on something that will never happen. The 15 PM, if a person can afford it, is a definite worthy upgrade, if you can’t afford it and you have the 14 or really anything from the 11 on up then you shouldn’t worry to much about it, but make no mistake, no matter how you try to justify its insignificance, the 15PM is simply better than the 14PM.
As a person tht upgraded from the 14pm to the 15pm 2 weeks ago lemme tell you everything you said was spot on I mean I almost feel insulted by the minor improvements giving how much apple promoted this device And all the overestimated hype leading to its release and even after And not to mention the titanium looks Particularly cheap compared to the premium stainless steel of the 14pm Im honestly considering going back to my 14pm and just giving the 15pm to my daughter wht a waste Save your time and money for the 16 series people😎🤦🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️
I do find the colours a little better on my regular 15 in comparison to my husband’s 14 pro though. Especially when it comes to skies or backgrounds. On the 14 pro they seem brighter or washed out even though they have the same camera basically. Weird.
Well, we're not gonna see any MAJOR differences any time soon. It's just the way things are. People buy the same phones for 3 years now and see no problem with this. Why would Apple bother? True innovation starts when sales drops.
I kind of wish I waited for 16 pro. The 15 pro is amazing and I’m really enjoying it, but I’m a bit disappointed when it comes to battery life. 99% of users will never take full advantage of its powerful chip, it’s time they focus on efficiency.
How's the battery life for you after 17.0.3? And how do you use a phone? I'm considering buying a 15 Pro, but only for ProMotion display. Otherwise I'd go for regular 15
@@dawidchojak_dcsolo ProMotion display was my reason to go for 15 pro over regular 15. After trying this display in the apple store I could feel the difference straight away. I read a lot, so scrolling small text was hurting my eyes on 60hz, not anymore. Also on 17.0.3 - it did not improve my battery health since I have never experienced any overheating issues which this update meant to address. Jumping from iphone 11 the battery life on my new phone is outstanding. One last thing, action button. If you know how to write good shortcuts, then looking from usability perspective, it is the most powerful functionality I have ever seen in any phone.
Despite being more features on the max model, I’m all in with the smaller pro since my hands are small. My 14 pro is at 89% battery health and was waiting for usb-c for so long now. Now with this video, I see that the upgrade is not worth it at all, so I’ll change the battery next year and keep it until something exciting comes off
I think I'll be waiting until 17 or 18 but if the 16 has smth really cool and worth the upgrade then maybe, I'll probably change the battery too since I'm also at 89% so idk if the 16 would be worth it anyways
@@ĪĪMizumiĪĪ thinking the same. My previous phone was an iPhone XS (2018) and it served me until literally battery, storage, camera, performance was falling apart. Again I can’t wait for my iPhone being usb-c since is my only device with different charger. But since is the only huge difference from my 14 pro I think waiting is way wiser choice
This was the phone I was considering, prior to its release. I guess I was hoping the rumours were wrong and the new telephoto would come to both models...but no. The standard 15 seems like excellent value this year with all the features it has inherited from the 14 Pro.
i have big hands but i still prefer the smaller pro models, since it easily fits inside my pockets, also i use bulky flip cases so its much more easier to handle compared to the pro max model.
Nicely summarised. All the phones except the standard 15 Pro got something of note. Admittedly, the photos can look better on the 15 Pro than the 14 pro but, as your comparison video showed, that is not always the case. Although we cannot really include USB-C as a particular point of merit (as it is universal on all models), it is probably the only major reason to not go for the 14 Pro instead.
I upgraded from the XS to the 14 pro a few months ago and I suggest you buy the 14 pro from an authorized reseller. It is cheaper and has most of the features that the 15 pro has
I went to see the 15 pro and max they’re really nice and lighter. Like I mentioned in other videos don’t upgrade unless you have iPhone 12 or older. My iPhone 12 Pro is still a good phone but technology wise it’s not as fast and the camera isn’t as good as iPhone 14 and 15. I’m getting the 15 pro max on December but keeping iPhone 12 Pro as my backup 📲
I'm coming at this far later and thinking about picking up a used iPhone 14 Pro after the 16's drop (theoretically preorders today). Anyway, did Apple ever enable Smart HDR 5 or 24MP photos?
I wouldn’t want to buy a 14 Pro at their current pricing considering they are still using the Lightning port. Sure, Lightning accessories will be around for a while, but it’s not future proof compared to USBC which is something to think about if you plan to buy an expensive phone and keep it for years
Probably right up to a point , but given there are still millions upon millions ......upon millions of users with lightning equipped gear , i dont think there will be any shortage of lightning accessories for many years to come mate .
@@mikldude9376 you’re probably right with that. But what is certain is that accessory makers are gonna stop making Lightning accessories eventually, and the supply of those accessories will shrink. You may think that’s gonna be a while. I say it’ll be quicker because Apple, and apparently the EU, likely wants this transition to be quicker to avoid confusion for the consumers. That’s why I personally think you shouldn’t pay $800+ for an iPhone with an outdated standard. If you’re gonna spend that much money, just go for the new iPhones, because at least you have certainty that you don’t have to worry about compatibility at all. Even the regular 15 is rather good value this year, as long as you don’t care about ProMotion and AOD. In fact, I’d argue there are clear advantages to get the regular 15 over a 14 Pro. The only scenarios where buy a Lightning iPhone is the better choice is if you can find one cheaper that $600, and I make that benchmark specifically because that’s how much it costs to get an iPhone 13 new from Apple. Either that or you recently bought new Lightning accessories like AirPods and you don’t want to replace them anytime soon.
Should I upgrade from the 14 Pro to the 15 Pro Max? Also, is 256GB enough? And, which color between Natural Titanium and White Titanium would you choose? Or instead, should I get 13 Pro brand new from parallel importer 3rd party store? Currently, I have the iPhone 14 Pro Space Black 256GB which has scrolling stuttering, battery life is bad, it has lags in the Camera app and some games and overheating issues.
@@MaxTechOfficial Thank you Max Tech for your reply! Really appreciate it! I think I will go for the 15 Pro Max as a trade in from the current 14 Pro that I have. Thank you!
15 pro's camera improvements are strictly software based which apple should also provide for 14 pro over update but I guess that ain't happening cause it's apple.
No way. The 14 Pro was a WAY bigger upgrade year over year than the 15 Pro. We got the dynamic island after years of the notch. The speakers got louder and with better bases as well as more evenly balanced in landscape mode. We went from 1200 Nits to 2000 Nits on the display. Display dimming also went down. We got the always on display option a well. The camera went from years of 12 MP to 48MP which was a huge upgrade and we got the 2x portrait mode. The Ultrawide camera was new for better lowlight and detail. The selfie camera was brand new with better lowlight and for the first time, Autofocus was added so everything is sharp. We got 4K cinematic mode which looked a lot better and the new Action Mode. The charging speed went up slightly to 27W. The storage speed went up by 50% (this year it's the same) And We got Satellite connectivity as well. Now compare that with what we got this year..
@@MaxTechOfficialimpressed you remember all those details. I just wish apple would upgrade the image processing on the 14 pros, as the hardware is mostly the same.
@@MaxTechOfficialbased on these changes I decided to upgrade from 13 Pro, if I would have 14 Pro I wouldn’t. But somehow I’m concerned with this overheating thing, still have a chance to cancel my order, almoast 3 weeks went by and I have to wait 1-2 weeks, ordered on 18.09…
I think the biggest difference between 14pro and 15pro is that I kinda hate the 14pro, and I love the 15pro. The form factor makes a huge difference in my opinion. I expected the 3nm to have a bigger impact on battery life though.
@@fijiwill223714 pro is uncomfortable in the hands. Too heavy and squared for the size. 15 pro feels much better in the hands. The lighter weight and rounded back help a lot. I don’t want to upgrade but the 14 pro ergonomics suck.
I pretend to from my iphone 12 to one in the 15 lineup. Should I go with Pro or Pro Max? I prefer the size of the Pro version because is more portable. But in the other hand, the battery of iphone 15 pro max is fantastic and also it has batter to type. Is 15 Pro Max that bad to put on the pocket and to use with one hand?
Pro max for a few reason , number one pro max’s heating system is better naturally due to size and this time iphone heating a lot. Due to weight being so less this year, pro max doesnt even feel uncomfortable and it is slightly smaller than the previous one’s actually, number 3 battery life ofc, 15 pro literally has worse battery than 14 pro in my experience, while the pro max is the second best in a iphone after 15 plus and another reason camera bc of 5x zoom, the quality looks almost as good as optical 3x lens in 3x and also due to 25 x full zoom and bigger sensors which means better low light performance
The Pro will still be a good upgrade for you, but I would say that if you can deal with the larger size the Max is well worth it. It will take a few days to get used to the larger size but having the larger display is very nice if you use your phone often especially for media and games.
@@MaxTechOfficial as you have tested even 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max, is the Pro Max so much worse than Pro to use with one hand to put it on the pocket? I am quite in doubt between Pro and Pro Max, because I always have the regulars size iPhones because it is good for daily use, but in 15 version as the Pro Max is lighter and the battery is much better than the regular Pro, I’m seriously thinking on getting the Pro Max version!

In my 15 Pro Max vs 14 Pro Max vs 13 Pro Max Camera comparison, I do have photos that are shot at 48MP HEIF on both, (and of course the 15 Pro and 14 Pro uses the same 48MP Camera). I have other shots that I took too but are not included, and zooming in and looking at them on my 6K monitor the differences are extremely minor almost unnoticeable, and most of the time no difference in terms of detail and noise. The differences that I showed in this video where the 15 Pro has more contrast, saturation, and better HDR do apply, but the HDR difference is less noticeable in 48MP modes.
@@MaxTechOfficial thank you for your response…..I think I’ll stick with the 14 pro to the 16 or 17….I came from the 8 plus so overall there are improvements….
Great video. thx! Do you think the overheating issue with the 15 Pro is now resolved? would you recommend the 512GB over the 256GB? I'm leaning toward the 512. Best!
Maybe you already saw tons of those comments but I’m coming from an XS max and was looking to go into the 14/15 pro, and this video was great! Not everyone is looking for the yearly upgrade
Could you do an iPhone 15 pro low power mode vs normal. You did it for the M2 chips and it was shocking results! Maybe because of the new 3nm the efficiency it would gain from low power mode would be the best on an iPhone yet? Would be interesting to test and see from you
The coating coming off reminds me of the black iPhone 5 back in the day. I opened up a brand new iPhone 5 in black and paint was already chipping off out of the box.
I just upgraded to iphone 15 Pro from iPhone 13 mini and can confirm that the upgrades do not improve quality of life as much as I thought it would. Even battery life feels about the same. Plus, this 6.1 inch size is HUGE! How do people tolerate such bulky phones!!!! Bring back the iPhone mini lineup!
I love my Iphone14 Pro, I'll just wait for the Iphone16. Plus Apple really needs to stop spitting out a new phone every year with minimal improvements.
This yr is really an ‘S’ yr in terms of upgrades, but will be the new standard in the next few yrs. Between 13-15 yeah the value is the 13 because of its price to features ratio. But because apple is moving to type c. It will become a less valuable proposition (let alone an unavailable option for retail in Europe) as time goes on with less lightning cables being produced, less accessories made, less ppl carrying them, etc. So while everyone shouldnt just jump ship now and buy a type c iphone. It will be the better investment. If youre in the market today and type c isn’t important, the 13 series is the best buy. But the 15 series is going to (soon) become the best value as move into later generations of phones.
Went from 14P to 15PM -- the 5x lens feels like a huge upgrade. the portrait shots are absolutely insane. battery life is way better than the 14P although no surprise since going to the max. pleasantly surprised. Too bad the 15P is not much of a change.
How does it feel in the hand compared to the 14 Pro? I have the 14 Pro and debating making the jump to the bigger phone. How’re the cameras etc? And lastly, how’s your battery / Screen on time compared to the 14 Pro?
@@MatthewVlossak it’s noticeably larger in the hand but doesn’t bother me personally, I think you get used to it quickly. It’s lighter than previous pro max phones, feels basically as light as the 14P. Camera is similar other than the 5x being way better, and ultrawide seems little better too. Battery life feels significantly longer.
@@fijiwill2237 Since my last comment, I got the 15 PM and have had it for a week. The battery life is insane! I charge it every other day sometimes longer. The camera is way better than the 14 Pro. The only thing I miss about the 14 Pro is the form factor. It was comfortable in the hand, but I got used to the PM size. You’ll enjoy the upgrade!
I have an iPhone 11 and looking to upgrade now because it's battery is dying and I need a camera upgrade. I am confused whether I should be getting iPhone 14 pro or 15 pro. I am getting both of them at same price from my carrier. What should I upgrade to?
So, I’m giving my mom my iPhone 13 mini since she broke her standard 11 and could use an upgrade. I’m debating either a 14 pro (Tmobile is selling it for the same price as the 15 pro for some reason). Or going with the standard 15. I don’t really think I need the 15 pro. I will be mainly using it for recording videos, taking photos. And sometimes playing games. Any thoughts are appreciated!
I absolutely agree. But i use 48MP HEIF and have kept that as default . So i dont think camera is point of difference between the two . And 48MP heif is anytime better than 24 MP . File size is small too and moreover it doesn’t take too much of a time
If you have a iPhone 14, why would you need to upgrade to a 15?? These phones are made to last a good 4 years or more Never understood why people do this
I love the talk about how the photos are better with the 15 vs 14. We hear the same old tune with every upgrade. Honestly, the smartphones are boring. The tech in the pixel 8 series is more intriguing. The voice to text and call screening crushes the iPhone. The Samsung’s Dex capabilities are a game changer IMO.
Hey everyone, I'm currently using an iPhone 11 and looking to upgrade. I have the option to get either the iPhone 14 Pro Max or the iPhone 15 Pro at the same price. I'm primarily need camera quality, performance (processor and RAM), and the longevity of the device. Display size (more screen real estate) and battery life are also important to me. Can anyone please suggest on these aspects? Thanks in advance!
Not worst iphone update but understand your sentiment because the pro max got features both pro devices should have received, not sure why apple hasn’t put 48mp on each of 3 cameras so we get same 24mp photo results or better probably from all 3 cameras, dislike when apple splits pro phone features based on device size only difference should be battery and screen size, 👍👍video
Magsafe charge time looks more like 2 hours instead of 4 hours! There's someone else on RUclips who also got 100% in 2 hours on well (on the 14 Pro). Are you using 15W Magsafe or 7.5W Qi charging?
as someone who knows about metals, contrary to popular belief, stainless steel is "stronger" and more scratch resistant than titanium. (titanium is a lot lighter though)
2025/2026 I might upgrade my 13 max. It’s just minor improvements year after year or tweaks. I think if have a too off the line 11, the 15 makes sense 😊
Owning an iPhone 14 Pro Max and seeing the huge difference in photographs with Smart HDR 5 gets me angry that they aren't offering this processing for us 😡
Switch to Samsung and get the Ultra. Sometimes I read comments like yours and I feel bad how Apple barely makes upgrades and customers pay double and get very little in return.
Should I consider do a 5 year thing like i currently have an XR but now im interested in upgrading and im deciding to move on too the 15 pro and than upgrade in the next 5 years however after the heating issues and breaking easily issues however I will put a case, I now need help on what I should get and yes I know maybe the 13 pro is good but I know its camera is weaker like it doesn’t have the 3x range
i do not think it only is a software implementation ! Because noise reduction means that the components have to be better shielded from external noise and internal noise as wel! so it is much more complicated than you think!
I would not even be surprise if Apple is limiting the processing power and capabilities of the older generations Iphone in their future ios "update" in order to make the new release Iphone looks better when reviewers are comparing and testing like this. The only way to make sure this is not happening is if you take a picture using the Iphone 14 pro at the time of release of the same place same people same outfits. Save that picture. Wait 1 year for the Iphone 15 pro release to take the same picture at the same place same people same outfits. And then compre the two picture. But who would be crazy enough to do that?
I wouldn't call it crazy, more just dedication. I wanted to get the 14 pro (im an 8 plus user atm) and unfortunately im not getting alot of good results when compared to the 15 pro max lol, I might just look into the 14 pro max :p
Hi , I'm an android user and i want to switch to iPhone but i never had an iPhone before, so i have the budget for both but which one is better iPhone 14 pro or iPhone 15 pro ? (And battery life is important to me)
Out of all the reviews-and there are a lot-this is one of the most practical. The Max seems better despite the larger form factor and the fact it can bend to cracking EASILY. But, there's MOFT. It'll be needed, including carrier insurance.
Yeah finally i buy gold 14 pro and happy with it but confused on colors silver or gold or purple already buyed gold but till confuse which is more sexy

Weird.
@@Miss_TEXAS_713 are you not enjoying much less weight in your hand?
@@Miss_TEXAS_713 right, and then complain about the 16 series...🙄
@@dawidchojak_dcsolo I upgraded from a 12 pro so it’s been a huge improvement. I’m getting about 8 hours of active use and zero overheating
Agree with you. Battery life needs to improve 25% minimum.
Battery life has been shite on regular pros since the 11’s
Despite being more features on the max model, I’m all in with the smaller pro since my hands are small. My 14 pro is at 89% battery health and was waiting for usb-c for so long now.
Now with this video, I see that the upgrade is not worth it at all, so I’ll change the battery next year and keep it until something exciting comes off
If you can wait until to upgrade until next year I think that will be the smart option.
I really hesitate to upgrade to 15 pro from 14 pro!! I always watching 15 pro reviews and unboxing but it’s not convincing me at all!
Honestly IPhone 13 pro max is the best iPhone to date
Not enabling 24 mp pics and Smart HDR 5 on 14 Pro via software is a pretty shitty move from Apple
How old is the iPhone 14 taking the photos? Could the lens coating have worn off causing less image detail?
I wouldn't be surprised if Apple makes iPhone 14 pro camera a bit worse after update . I have this feeling after they released new iPhone every year .
Can I buy your 14 pro max for 1000?
i think if your not taking heaps of video 256 GB would be plenty mate .
Don't go for 13 Pro. Go for 15 Pro Max with 256 if you can afford it.
@@MaxTechOfficial Thank you Max Tech for your reply! Really appreciate it!
I think I will go for the 15 Pro Max as a trade in from the current 14 Pro that I have. Thank you!
@@tubztergaming5700 No, sorry.
This video made me feel really good about recently grabbing the 14 Pro over the 15 models
I’m bout to upgrade from a 11 to a 14 pro
15 pro's camera improvements are strictly software based which apple should also provide for 14 pro over update but I guess that ain't happening cause it's apple.
Apple did give the 14Pro 48m HEIF this year so why not compare the 2 cameras with that setting??
My main thing about getting a 15 pro is the rounder edges. I really don’t like the uncomfortably sharp edges of the 14 pro…
Sticking with my 14 Pro Max this year
No matter what the differences of those two devices ,I cannot deny the fact that I cant still afford to buy those kinds of phone😂😂😂.
Just go back to when the 14 Pro max came out. The difference between the 13PM to the 14 PM is the same as the 14PM to 15PM.
Biggest difference is that you hate the 14p? Cmon now make it make sense.

Before release I was considering an upgrade from 14 Pro Max to the smaller 15 Pro. I’m so glad I haven’t.
Still with my 12 pro - no plans to upgrade
Good for you😊
I’m feeling the poorer battery performance compared to just the 13 series after owning a 12 Pro ever since it launched…
The smallest upgrade ever … 14 to 15 is a joke
I wish you compared the 48 HEIF options on the 14 Pro and 15 Pro. Would’ve been more interesting than the 14 Pro’s 12mp vs. the 15 Pro’s 24mp
Good point …I do notice some improvement when I switch on my 14 pro

In the speaker test the 14 Pro sounded a lot better than the 15 Pro....
15 pro black looks so nice
So funny to me seeing you posting pictures from around my old neighborhood
Went from 14P to 15PM -- the 5x lens feels like a huge upgrade. the portrait shots are absolutely insane. battery life is way better than the 14P although no surprise since going to the max. pleasantly surprised. Too bad the 15P is not much of a change.

If you have a iPhone 14, why would you need to upgrade to a 15??
These phones are made to last a good 4 years or more
Never understood why people do this
I love the talk about how the photos are better with the 15 vs 14. We hear the same old tune with every upgrade. Honestly, the smartphones are boring. The tech in the pixel 8 series is more intriguing. The voice to text and call screening crushes the iPhone. The Samsung’s Dex capabilities are a game changer IMO.

Not worst iphone update but understand your sentiment because the pro max got features both pro devices should have received, not sure why apple hasn’t put 48mp on each of 3 cameras so we get same 24mp photo results or better probably from all 3 cameras, dislike when apple splits pro phone features based on device size only difference should be battery and screen size, 👍👍video

i do not think it only is a software implementation !
