What's Following You

Today we start with Psalm 23:6 and David's prayer that God's goodness and mercy would follow him all the days of his life and move further into an exploration of what is following each of us. Since every exploration into scripture leads to deeper and deeper levels of meaning and significance for our lives, it's no surprise that the word translated as "follow" has much more weight than just sheep following a shepherd. The Hebrew word is rāḏap̄ (pronounced raw-daf') and means "to pursue." What is pursuing you? Often the answer is determined by what you are pursuing.
