Dr. Marco Quarta on restoring the function of senescent cells

Another exciting interview from Forever Healthy's Rejuvenation Startup Summit. This time I was lucky enough to talk to Dr. Marco Quarta, CEO of Rubedo Life Sciences, who have another interesting approach in fighting senescent cells.
🔬 Highlights:
- Rubedo uses a platform called Alembic, leveraging AI and genomics to identify and target specific senescent cells responsible for various diseases, allowing for the development of highly selective treatments.
- The company's first drug, RLS-1496, is entering clinical trials this year to treat chronic inflammatory skin conditions. This drug is part of a broader effort to create therapies for different tissues, such as the lung and liver.
- Rubedo has partnered with Beiersdorf to develop a cosmetic cream that uses their technology to rejuvenate aging skin, potentially providing a practical, non-medical anti-aging solution.
