- Scott and Heather Bennett's self converted MCI Bus . Conversion completed in 13 weeks. Coach now has a couch and beds for my two girls. Also has an area that can be used for dining but we generally sit on the couch and eat as a family.
One of the best bus conversions I have seen so far. Its beautiful!
I totally agree.
cant agree more, is it for sale
meonline44 it's not for sale. We are living aboard it full time :)
Scott Bennett
Hello I must say your bus is amazing. I have a question but not about the bus. The soundtrack to the video is very beautiful. How can I get it?
Raul Villarreal This is Mannheim Steamroller. Wonderful Christmas music!
Amazing one of the best conversations I've seen yet. Keep up the good work !!!
Absolutely amazing! in 13 weeks incredible. I want one. thanks for sharing.
Wowww.....just amazing!!! Best bus conversion thus far....
Beautiful bus conversion. It's cozy, livable and has warmth! Charming residence. Wish I could live like this with my family.
hands down the best I've ever seen
oh wow this does look like home. even a Christmas tree inside.
Just beautiful
Beautiful...amazing job
That bathroom! THAT BATHROOM!!😍😍😍😍😍
It is nice to see a bus that looks like a home, instead of something out of Woodstock. Very, very beautiful. Good job.
Beautiful ! Love the Christmas theme in the tour.. Thank you for sharing !
A beautiful home ! It's just like I would like my bus to be. I am wanting a bus and turn it into a cabin inside.......just amazing ! Thank you for sharing !!
This is absolutely stunning!!!!
Beautiful job
Beautiful conversion...I love the water bottles door stop.
Love the conversion... And the music. 😊
Well done. First conversion I've seen with 2 bathrooms.
Trade Show Tom not me. 85% of the buses have their shower separate from the toilet. Why I am not sure because it just takes up room. The only difference about this one is I believe both areas had a small sink.
But it was a very nice bus.
@@shandelebroyles1099it indeed has 1.5 baths. One full bath with a toilet sink and shower and a master half bath in the master bedroom with a sink and toilet.
Two toilets, two sinks, one shower.
Fanfuckintastic!! Please upload your improvements and maybe an exterior shot for us that haven’t seen it. I’m super impressed!
Awesome video Scott! It is great to see a virtual tour, looks really good. You have to do a little tour of the outside too so we can see that beautiful paint job and how you organized the storage bays!!!
This is beautiful 😩❤️
Wow, simply amazing.
This is just perfect!
I think I am in love with this RIG
Hey Ryan, me too! This is RIG
great job, love your vision
Wow I love that bus every thing is so nice the bath is big and the shower is even better
I like your tiny home
Awesome.. Great job.
Beautiful
I love the shower... I love just about everything but I especially like the shower! Omg and the bedroom!!
feels like a RV bus awesome
Yup I need the floor plans because this is my 2018 goal!
Crystal Williams did the goal come to reality?
I took a double take with that extra bathroom. Well done.
13 weeks! Nice!
Good god! I am sooo inspired.
im really impressed
Wonderful bus.
i would realy enjoy a complete video when its done
Very nice work.
Best filmed tour bus video, Love it, when do I move in!?!💖
The best I've seen!
No it's not
+Leon's Channel Who are you to say what's the best she's seen? Hater!
been wondering y i haven't seen a bus conversion like this yet. shits on point. you think like me :D
BEAUTIFUL
I wish we had a tour with commentary and not just music
Jupiter Stars let me work on this and post it
Beautiful, condo on wheels.
Can't wait to see a video of this conversion when you've completed it.
I thought it was completed
Money well spent. I would have only changed a few minor things... A- Looks Great!!!
Beautiful, nice job.
Windows are being added to the bedroom and other locations. :) the coach isn't finished yet. This is how far we got in 13 weeks. There's now a couch and bunk beds are being built this next summer. And to the guy who thumbs downed because I'm not talking in the video and there's no video of the outside, this interior video was uploaded to RUclips only to share with my bus club website (busconversions.com) and they all have seen the exterior already so I deleted your grumpy comment lol. If you want to see the exterior of this coach click here: goo.gl/photos/7BePZuL2UR11Mc4y6
Porthole windows! :)
dont worry about a few miserable viewers..they want disappear anyway that their way of life..:)
Absolutely Beautiful!! Best conversion i have seen! It is stunning! Ignore the trolls there is always one.... their just jealous!
Fantastic job thus far!
that's a well done bus.
I have seen hundreds,,,, this takes first place.... :)
This is gorgeous, but it looks too much like a house. Which isn’t a bad thing. I suppose that’s the ultimate goal, in which case, these people succeed 100%. I prefer to maintain some of the bus feel for my personal taste, but this is absolutely beautifully done.
Nasty Brattany thank you. We have absolutely no desire to feel like we are living inside a Bus. We are fulltimers and have been for 9 years. We like feeling like we live in a small house.
Nice conversion wish I had the money to do here in England.
Impressive.
1 AND A 1/2 BATHS!!!!
the music made me sleepy
mars warrior lol. It's sleepy music. Makes you want to climb into your bus bed and take a kip.
Great. little more touch up here and there and it will be done of you haven't already. lt looks really great.
I love your adventure and design while this beautiful version of "Silent night" I must know who performs this version, please tell :)
I would love to build somethng like this but I have a bone in my foot. Outstanding
Oh wow!
the best
The doors are too extra. Loved the wood finish
I envy you guys, a very nice job, "Wish You Where Here"..I mean the BUS..lol
A black slated tile would have sealed that shower!
Awesome Amazing JOB! What model MCI Bus is this, and how long is it? I am thinking about purchasing an MCI 40 foot long, MC-9... I would love to do exactly this to it, with one or two small changes to the floor plan...
I would love to see your floor plan and know exactly what it is you went thru to make this a reality.
outstanding job Scott by far one of the best I've ever seen do you still have it
you have to be a Carpender I could never produce something that beautiful
Mark Faunce
Not a carpenter. I'm a musician so the bus was necessary. I learned every step of the way. Yes I still have it. I live in this coach Fulltime with my wife and 18 month old little girl.
let me know when you decide to sell. I am looking for quite some time, I love it because you put the necessary stuff like: A real bathroom, washer, dryer, lots of plugins etc, merry xmas even its late
ohm myyyy. :)
Wowwww
Wow.....will you build me one almost but just like yours?
Awesome build, I'm getting into the same project myself. About what did that cost to do to what you've done so far? Just the interior. Thanks
Where did you put the bunk beds?
wowwww
Funny, I just bought a bus and my name is the same as yours.
I see how you fitted the washer and dryer in, seems no dining space or couch really. Only thing I would have done with the en suite bathroom and breaker room is switch it with the main bathroom. Shift the kitchen around a bit to accommodate. And maybe done a tiled tub/shower. Just my thoughts. I'll need to get a bus of my own to try it with.
James Laidler it has a couch. As mentioned in the comments, this was a 13 week build. Wasn’t time to finish it. Has a couch and dining area. And yes, build yourself a bus and you can make it exactly as you like it.
amazing build. question: how to aviod moisture in the bus? isnt it dangerous because mold could appear (inside) walls and stuff? just curious...
Gerd Grübel bus is climate controlled at all times. There is no moisture. Moisture introduced from shower or propane cooking stove gets vented out of the coach. All of the wood walls you see are triple coated on all sides with an expensive water based clear coat sealer.
very nice. I would have added some corner round in the corners for a little-added touch. Is that real wood in the shower?
BIG JOE 245 corner round has been added. This video was taken before the coach was completed. We performed the conversion in 13 weeks so we are still finishing up little things here and there. Shower is "barn wood" tile. So it's made to look like authentic barn wood but in fact it is tile.
love it, I would like to buy a couple of these can you tell how I can do that
Hi, I'm looking to buy and do the conversions, are you in Calif.
iwishuwell@me.com
the tile doesn't crack with the flexing of the bus traveling?
Billy Ward no, the bus rides on air. Not a single crack in the tile. Many high end private coaches have tile or marble floors and showers. This isn't an issue if it's done correctly
How long does it take for this project and what is the total cost Scott?
TLE 13 weeks for what you see. Project cost was in the $60,000 range
what was used for the wall surfaces in the shower? thanks
Daily Dump News we used tile. It's made to look just like old barnwood. Lowes or Home Depot carry it.
ok great! i really like the way it looks.
Very nice bus, but the music made me feel like I was at a wake.
Victor Coleman easy fix for that: the mute button. It was Christmas and that's Mannheim Steamroller.
no windows in the bedroom? not to sure about that..but everything else is nice
W Bartley
We are adding windows to the bedroom very soon. Again, the bus isn't done. This is just what I could do in 13 weeks before a tour.
2 bathrooms?
1.5 baths.
It's Great but how much does it weigh . better than a house !!
Am. Blades 39,000 lbs
Great fitout but kinda creepy with the music :)
THE HUMBLED GENTILE you’re not familiar with the famous Mannheim Steamrollers apparently. I’ve never in my life heard anyone describe them as creepy. 🙄
Ok I’ll give you my address I’m ready to gooo perfect conversion
Beautiful, but no egress!
boredtoinfinity3 plenty of egress. Windows up front, two huge roof hatches in the roof. And we are adding windows soon in the back of the coach.
looks heavy
FeelItRising 39,000 lbs. much lighter than most of today’s class A luxury coaches which can run up to 52,000 lbs. research it.
