as someone who's half hispanic but also super white, I'm glad I got through the "hey look I'm hispanic look at me I'm hispanic" thing in middle school. I feel like every mildly hispanic white person goes through that phase. Don't get me wrong I'm very proud of my heritage, I'm just definitely not the best person to really represent it and I'm aware of that lol
