Hey guys welcome back to my channel! Today’s video is one I’ve been getting requests to do since the initial trailer dropped but because of pushbacks (its been out in Canada for weeks now but was just released in the US a few days ago) with the movie release I haven’t been able to do it until now, but here we are! Some of you guys who have been with me for a while might know that a few years ago I did a video on After, a harry styles’ wattpad fanfic that was rebranded as a definitely-not-a-fanfic-we-swear romance series once it was published that eventually got the green light for a movie series. I believe there are going to be 4 (?) movies in total and the one we’ll be looking at today is the sequel titled After We Collided! The first movie was a hot mess to say the least considering that even fans of the series weren’t happy with the way it translated on screen, I also was definitely not a massive fan personally... lol. It seems to be a VERY divisive movie though considering the people that love it, ADORE it and the people who don't, absolutely hate it. So I thought with the second movie coming out and people requesting for me to check it out, how about round two!
Also just a note, back when I did that first video it didn’t even cross my mind to do a commentary similar to the way that I do my movie videos now (i.e netflix turned our worst wattpad nightmare into a movie...) where I watch the movie with you guys, so watching that old video back was pretty weird tbh so i thought this time around we’d do it in the style I typically do now because I feel like it’s a lot more fun! Also this goes without saying but me not liking a movie doesnt mean you cant, i’m just a stranger on the internet lol if you like it then who cares what i think! Hopefully you guys enjoy the video whether you liked the movie or not and we can all just have fun with it!

Well trevor was never the main character in the book he was there for her occasionally but in reality it was zed (Hardin's friends) who was interested in tessa and ended up kissing her

Trevor was not a big part nor was he a love interest it was a triangle with Hardin, tessa, and zedd they took zedd character and wasted it so they are kinda sticking to the book with trevor however trevor doesnt act like this in the book either

if I can be real for a second, I hate how the media romanticizes abusive relationships and how those types of relationships can be "fixable". Hell, I was in an incredibly abusive relationship with her calling me worthless whenever we had sex, she would never let me talk, she would cheat on me more than 10 times with men and whenever she sexually assault me, I would try to ignore it and in that whole relationship, I was never allowed to say no. This went on for 2 years straight and it really made it difficult for me to be intimate with my now fiancee but my fiancee took my hand and taught me that I am worth something and deserve love.

You might wonder of why I stayed in the relationship and it's because I thought that's what love and it didn't help that I was bullied a lot and my Dad left when I was 4 just to go after a younger model and leaving my mom with my older siblings and me with barely any money (that's just how it was in Japan at the time) and my mom never really had time to give me that motherly love. I didn't know what love was so I guess that's why I stayed in that relationship for 2 years.

I just wish Wattpad actually chose well written stories for their movie contracts. There's so many amazing, like literally, mind blowing writers within the community and this movie just paints the entire Wattpad app as a cringy scene which I won't lie, it can be, but you'd be surprised what some people can do once you look in the right places. After was never my thing, never vibed with the story but for the sake of getting to watch something to distract my brain from an identity crisis, it's not the worst. I just hate seeing toxic relationships like that romanticised, gives the teenagers that watch it an unrealistic, and surely, horrible idea of how a relationship should be.
There's a really good book on there called The Bad Boy and The Tomboy and I wished that could've been a movie instead of this bs🤦🏿♀️

I’m not going to be watching or reading any of the books/movies because I’m a huge Harry Styles fan and I respect him enough to not purchase this series. When Anna Todd wrote this Harry was 17 and she was 23. Not only has he said feels uncomfortable when things like this happen, it’s just plain disrespectful to him.
Fanfics are messed up. I don't have a lot of experience with Harry Styles because I'm more of a casual listener and I also don't have the app/don't search for it.
However, as a BTS fan I'm aware of some weird and scary stuff like one of the guys x Donald Trump and lightning Mcqueen x the whole group just to name a few.
