I do plan on making a video about the sequel at some point, however I don't know when that video will be out. Currently working on other videos at the moment, so it all depends on what's happening later down this year and if I eventually get around to it.
I can see that, the PS2 had a great library of games and I believe the PS3 was released a few months before Hotel Dusk. Anyways, it's as good a time as any to check this game out if you haven't.
Yeah, Hotel Dusk was designed for the DS, but if Another Code somehow got a remake there might be a chance that Hotel Dusk can get one too. I think the biggest challenge will be preserving the rotoscoping sprites.
@@jevdaninja as someone who played trace memory on ds, the switch demo for it wasn't really that impressive to me :/ its great that it happened at all to reach a wider audience but it didn't have the same charm. i'd imagine if hotel dusk had a remake it would be a very similar formula to another code recollection. no matter what, the original will always be superior.
A bit of a shame you didn't enjoy the demo of Recollection. In my opinion, I think Arc System did a good job on the remake I've only played two memories though since I haven't played the second game originally. It does have its faults though there are some changes in the story and puzzles that are different to the original. I understand why you think the original is always superior, at the end of the day a remake is a remake.
@ViraRiva I feel if they can keep the rotoscoping art style, it'd be a big help! I personally feel that an art style like the game Chase cold case investigation's would work perfectly! As long as the keep the sketch book feel. I'm curious did you ever try the full game of another code recollection? Apparently, most people who found the demo to be disappointing really enjoyed the full game!
I see, it would be nice to have a third game. But I think if that does happen we'll see a remake of the first two games first just like another code remake in my opinion.

Hopefully we get an Hotel Dusk remake later down the line regardless of sale, it's definitely the most wanted series out of CING's library.

i remember seeing the cover f this game and it looked stylish but im wasnt going to waste money on a ds when the ps2 was in its prime

The hotel dusk series always reminds me of the movie memento, but I'm not sure why.
It's been a while since I've seen Memento, but I think what's reminding you is the black and white scenes that happens throughout the movie.
