It's amazing how fast both of them connect its like they were just hanging out at a party yesterday and re-telling stories. Benicion is very down to earth
Benicio just has something about him.... It's like if I just look at his face, no. But then I look at him as an entire person, watch him in Sicario, and it's like he makes me feel feelings.
Thats the magic. You either got it or you dont.
Icbeeable - The thing is, that unlike some more over-the-top actors (*coughnicholascagecough*), Benicio can convey a LOT with incredibly little. Watching him go in Sicario was both an incredible and riveting experience. His performance is raw and purposefully constrained, but so deep and genuine at the same time that you truly feel like you're watching a real person instead of just a character. It's all in the gaze and countenance.

Amen. The most underrated performance of the 2000´s. That he didnt get a single nomination from anyone in the world is a disgrace....the film is very good but only has 65% at rotten tomatoes and men do not get recognition,their performances are sadly seldom seperated from the movie as a whole while Streep won an Oscar for a movie most people despised.

The reason why all these actors are so comfortable with Jamie is because you can tell they are fans of him as well. He himself is a master at the craft.
Jamie is a great actor and also just a fun guy. Benicio is the closest thing to marlon Brando that Hollywood has.
Brando was a part-time criminal. Del Toro is playing a full-time criminal.

One role that Benicio took on that a lot of folks probably don't remember or ever talk about is his role in The Fan remake with Wesley Snipes and Robert De Niro. He was good in that as well.

You can just tell by their eye contact and body language this was a very productive interview. Two laid back guys that struggled to the top. Very fascinating story from both. Del Toro subtlety praises Foxx on many occasions which Foxx felt deeply. Great job!

Very few actors can just stand, not say a word for 5 full minutes, and trust me, you'll shake in your pants, and/or possibly give a standing ovation. This guy is one of of such actors. Few words, but powerful cinematic delivery
