      john jobs - First off, it's very common in men and women to have a vit of stomach starting in their 50s, and it's nowhere near being actually 'fat'; It's mostly just a sign of age, and considering that Benicio's overall shape is more bulky than lean, it's also perfectly normal. Second, women are usually atteacted to different traits than men. Generally speaking, men will first and foremost be attracted to woman's body and facial features, whereas women will be greatly endeared by personality traits like experience, suaveness, confidence, protectiveness, etc. The physical appearance doesn't quite matter as much to us as the person's entire aura. And even though Benicio *is* good looking, it's more what he emanates that I find attractive.

      @@elitadream between 2013-2014 he had to gain weight for his role as Pablo Escobar but this weight loss isn't Much comparable for today but I see Benicio as not fat, rather cute chubby and that what you said, men in age gain a little stomach.

    When Benicio del Toro won his first Oscar, the then governor of PR, Sila M. Calderon, announced that she was going to throw a huge event to honor him. Benicio went on to say that he would rather she her use the money and invest it in something that would promote the arts in Puerto Rico. She was so ofended by that statement that she cancelled the Benicio de Toro Oscar Party. BUT... she didn’t invest a dime in promoting the arts in the island either.
    Fast forward to 2018; Puerto Rico’s condition, created by the most corrupt territory in the USA, and the fanatics that vote and defend them to their deaths, just wants to make you cry.

      Unless you live on that island, you can't appreciate how bad the corruption is. The arts in Puerto Rico are all but dead. As is everything else.

    It's high time that the territories held by the USA were offered statehood, or at the very least reasonable representation WITH A VOTE IN CONGRESS. Our forefathers greatly resented taxation without representation but right now we're forcing that same circumstance on the American territories. It is a great WRONG and it needs to stop!

    • @havok6280
      @havok6280 6 лет назад +9

      Lily Darkmoore the founding fathers didn't actually want representation. The population in the colonies was so small that representation in parliament would have been nominal. They wanted independence. That was just a catchy slogan. Ask the residents in DC how they like their non voting member of Congress. Puerto Ricans have consistently voted against statehood. And currently Puerto Ricans pay some federal taxes but they don't pay income tax. They can vote but they can't vote for president. And again their population is so small they wouldn't have much impact on who becomes president. So statehood would mean higher taxes and a very small voice in Congress, like say Wyoming. Doesn't seem like a fair trade. We need to take better care of our territories but statehood isn't they answer. Hawaii was only granted statehood so companies like Dole could exploit it.

    This is insane to me. Every citizen should have a right to vote and that should be the foundation of your own understanding of citizenship.

    • @douglaskrueger3755
      @douglaskrueger3755 6 лет назад +1

      Rose S: No, I disagree; your statement is absurd! Every RESIDENT should be represented, whether they have a right to vote or not, but not all CITIZENS should have a right to vote!
      Are you seriously advocating that we should increase the eligible voters nationwide by more than a third by giving the right to vote to citizen children under 18 years old? Babies, who are citizens at birth, "should have a right to vote"?
      That is the effect of your statement about "every citizen".

    • @feebeedoc78
      @feebeedoc78 6 лет назад

      Douglas Krueger
      You're right as to citizenship and voting rights. My bad. My broader point is "how do you live with this?".

    • @douglaskrueger3755
      @douglaskrueger3755 6 лет назад

      Rose S: (1) Voting, does not equal (2) citizenship, does not equal (3) representation, does not equal (4) taxation. The relative strengths of these 4 points vary among different cohorts in the United States, as well they should in some cases (e.g., children usually have points (2) and (3) but really shouldn't have points (1) and (4)).
      Adult citizen Puerto Ricans have all 4 points but are extremely restricted on point (3). As an American expat, I am better represented but still restricted on point (3), and more restricted on point (4).
      Edit: I'm not saying that I agree with the current system. I would increase and equalize point (3) for both Puerto Ricans and myself and get rid of the insane point (4) double taxation of Americans living and working abroad simply because we are Americans (no other country does this).

      Every citizen should have the right to vote. People used your argument to deny the right to vote to Black people. We are not talking about babies or people in coma in hospitals. What is the age requirement in the US? Same should be in PR. Representation should be based on the population. The only problem with that is that states with large white populations will lose representation since PR have a larger population than many states.

    • @douglaskrueger3755
      @douglaskrueger3755 6 лет назад

      Michael Nieves: How good of a troll are you?
      Citizenship does not equal voting rights! Underage citizens should not vote. You say "We are not talking about "babies" - while 24% of the US population is under 18 years of age and only half of that number in the total (black-and-white-and-all-others) population - 12% is black and I never said anything about limiting the vote due to race.
      So what the hell are you talking about, troll?
