Yeah I wouldn't mind if there was ads what really annoys the shit out of me is when you get ads before the video even begins Like. At least give 30 seconds sneak peak.
I’ve been on Davinci Resolve for a few years casually, I’ve watched a lot of RUclips videos and how-tos, this video has explained so many different actions with so much detail, thank you so much!
You are right trouble is, that it's a very low bar. Davinci 'tuition' videos on 'youtube' are disgraceful, they are not educationally structured. All they have on their pages show the 'features', not how to use it. All any novice needs to know right from the get-go is how to put together clips of video and how to use the audio collected with that video. 'Features', special effects, wiping, whatever that is, can come way later. This is coming from someone trying to do exactly this. I am the classic student, i know absolutely nothing of video editing. I do not need a video to show me the difference between Davinci and other video editors.....cos, I DON'T KNOW OTHER EDITORS! Colour Grading Central, no disrespect, but you seen to be the best of a bad group. Have you heard of the acronym KISS...Keep it simple stupid...
After days of watching videos on RUclips, I finally found a video that can actually teach me DaVinci Resolve 16 professionally. Thank you so much. I'm definitely registering for the workshop. Hat off!!!
Started watching not even realizing this was a color grading channel, now I’m super interested in dipping my toes into something I really have never done, glad I watched!
Fabulous job in 25 minutes! Great balance of instructional soundness and skills. So many times on You Tube you find either a great teacher, with minimal depth of knowledge, or huge knowledge, but bad at transferring and teaching. You nailed it! Keep up the great work.

We make home workouts on our RUclips channel and we currently use Adobe Premiere Pro but just purchased the BMPCC 6k to up our game. It came with Resolve studio so we are considering making the switch. This video was very well thought out, fantastically presented, and SUPER helpful. The BMPCC is nothing like the Canon I was using so I'm having to learn a little more on the color grading side but man is the quality night and day. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
After a long time working with Premiere Pro I finally decided to step over gradually to Da Vinci Resolve. The editor is now so much extended in the past years in Davinci and the colortools has always been splendid. Such a easy workflow and thank you for this clear overview .
This is a great example of how giving away useful content drives monetization! I’m now way more interested/inclined to purchase a course or luts bc they’ve proven their worth! 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼
Wow I cannot believe how helpful this video was. I use premiere pro and tried davinci a few times only to be completely lost and giving up. Well after watching this video, I edited and color graded a particularly difficult set of clips and wow it was so easy and the results are amazing! Thank you
Wow!! Your clarity of instructions and enthusiasm is so well balanced. Your video made me excited to learn about color grading - something I didn't think was ever possible!!

I love that you breeze through these and drop HUGE tips and techniques along the way. It might seem small to some but there's a lot of value in the little nuances. Just seeing those on-screen keyboard shortcuts were SO helpful in doing things much faster, too.
