So awesome to hear it 😊
Best possible tutorial ever! I went from knowing nothing about editing to being able to edit my videos in no time! Thank you justin.
Cool - You're welcome 👍
I can hardly begin to tell you how spectacular i think your video is. It really is COMPLETE, and it really is for beginners (which I am). At first I was put off by its length, but figured that 34 minutes now will save hours of fumbling later. i am glad that I did. And because sections are clearly labeled, I will be able to skip the sections I don't need right now for this project. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Thank you, glad you liked it 👍 - Hazel, PV Team
Been using iMovie mainly on my iPad. This Davinci Resolve looks pretty overwhelming initially, but your tutorial sure makes it more beginner friendly. I don’t expect to learn or use all the high end stuff, but it’s good to know the difference between a freebie software and one that cost $$$. Thanks Justin👍😊
You're welcome Philip - thanks for watching and glad it helped 😀
This is the tutorial I've been desperately needing.
Hi, as someone who was looking to edit my first ever gameplay footage for a new channel this was MASSIVELY helpful. Thank you so much for a clear, concise, and cognitive tutorial!
Amazing, glad we could help 😀
wow, I didn't expect to find an all-in-one basic tutorial of DaVinci Resolve.
I thought I had to go through hours and hours of guides on youtube.
You did it in all in just 30-mins!
You 've saved me time and sanity!
Thank you!
So glad you enjoyed it! You're welcome, Ian! 😃
this tutorial is amazing, all the markers to show where to skip, no adds, understandable even paced tutorial, and you even include the key binds in the description!!! like from me
Thanks!
Mate, i'd like to thank you so much, by seeing how easy it is you've inspired me to make videos, legit this is the best tutorial i could ask for. Thanks alot.
You're welcome - glad it inspired you 🙏
Thank you so much for this brilliant, expertly paced tutorial. In trying to find a replacement for Videopad, I had downloaded and tried 5 or 6 other packages, none of which suited my requirements. I had neglected to try DaVinci because I thought it would be too complex, but this tutorial explained it all very clearly, so I feel I'm up-and-running!
You're welcome - so glad you enjoyed it.
I really appreciate the existence of this video bro it just look so complicated and i understand it now
Nice, so glad you found it useful - Hazel, PV Team
This literally was the greatest tutorial I have ever seen. You deserve a kiss on your forehead 🥺💕
Great to hear that - thanks!
i love the way he allways explains soo kindly and nicely and i understand everything even though i am a 10 year old kid
Bruh if so how are u on Davinci resolve?
The age doesn’t matter I’m eleven and I can edit very good with resolve
This helped me finish my school project, thanks for your help!
That's great - you're welcome! 😊 - Hazel, PV Team
@@PrimalVideo he responded a 2 years later what a legend
One of the best tutorials I have ever done! Having switched from Premier to Resolve, I needed an intro to get me going. This was perfect, the pace, order of information and everything so clearly explained. Great job!
"So awesome to hear that! All the best with your edits in DaVinci Resolve 😃 - Hazel, PV Team
I got a comment on one of my videos that said "The editing is beyond terrible", They weren't wrong. Thank you so much, hopefully, my editing can get to at least terrible, and then I'll shoot for not terrible.
No problem - keep practicing 😉
Dude this is the best most explainable video I have ever watched you inspired me to download it
Awesome to hear - Thanks for watching!

You're welcome - by the way we recently uploaded an updated version of this video. That might help too, feel free to watch! 😊
Amazing job on this! I learned an absolute TON from this!
Thanks to this video, you gave me the confidence to finally walk away from my annual subscription with Adobe, (just a few days before it renews!). You definitely covered a lot here, it was well presented and easy to understand. Many thanks!
You're welcome - so glad you liked it! 😃
They had to edit a video of editing a video....

I'm replying to your comment on a video about editing a video.
but what editing software did he use
THANK YOU for this video! It is the only tutorial I have found that includes the very beginning steps. I edit about one video a year and every time I have to come back to this video for a primer on what to do. It is the best and only real video for absolute beginners. Thank you so much!
You’re welcome - so awesome to hear it, cheers! 😊
This video is making careers.
This is amazing! Big thanks for this tutorial, I just started looking and I found everything I need in this video. Especially as a beginner any more than this and i might as well be working for Sony studios. lol Great job explaining everything clearly.
Great - glad you made it here 😁
It's almost impossible to fail if you learn to edit from Justin
Cool - thanks! 😎
Amazing video....started from zero knowledge, watched this...35 minutes later, now basically making videos that look like a professional studio edited them. Thanks so so much!
You're welcome - so glad you enjoyed it! 😃
very nice and clear - just signed up with davincci and feeling my way round - good instructions
Huge thanks for splitting the video into parts; I hate having to skip through 5 minutes of "hey what's up guys! youtubechannelname here, and today we're gonna-"
I don't have any materials to set up vlogging, but still learning in your every single video you post 🥰🥰
It doesn't take much to Vlog, just a phone and a free editing software 😁
This video is a lifesaver. I've just jumped into using DaVinci Resolve after years of Macs and Adobe products and knew there had to be an easier way to edit than what I was doing. Amazing tutorial!!!
Awesome - so glad you've found value in our content! 😊
HOW DO U EXPLAIN THIS SO WELL TEACH ME THE WAYS
It is possible like in Sony Vegas to move 2 clips together at the end / beginning and the programm adds auto transition?
Bro who to download sony vegas ?
@@innow9428 Buy the software if you want to use it......
you can add them on the clips at each end
@@mooseyexists Yes but it is so much "work" if you came from vegas. In vegas I cut with 1 button the clip, move with the mouse the clip into the other one and all is done. Davinci workflow is much longer and complicated, unfortunately.
@@360GameTV it’s not much at all, same speed as what I did in shotcut which is that
Hi, Justin:
I'm following along on your excellent tutorial. I loaded clips in the bin. When I go to preview them, I hear the audio but the preview screen is BLANK. What gives?
I've used DVR before but not for over a year. Coming back to it and trying to remember how it works is always tough. This overview is a fantastic refresher. Thanks so much!
You're welcome - so awesome to hear it! 😃
This is a great video as I'm just starting out on editing. A question: can you do voice audio recording over your video clip? At this stage for me it would be fantastic to be able to remove an audio from the clip and record directly to it.
Yes you can
If you are reading this, I wish you all become successful, I can't wait to see the success of you all
You're just wonderful, god bless you my friend, thanks for your help ❤️
You're welcome! - Hazel, PV Team
This person needs to do a tutorial for everything in my life. I have been putting this app off for years because I could not get into it, idk how I have never came across this video, it's much easier than I thought idk what I've been doing.

I downloaded DaVinci just to do a simple vacation video and was overwhelmed. I found your video and you have made it easy! Your voice is pleasant and you explain things very well. I'm about halfway through but my brain is fried, so I will continue tomorrow. Thanks for such a wonderful video.
