Sounds good. I think instead of having an entry level hose just sell one model with the good hose. The higher volume would probably lower cost and you could offer it at a lower price point.
@@CarsWithKeav @CarsWithKeav Hey Keav, love the content man Quick question hope you can help it has been a while since you tested this one I just installed my unit and will be using my bear force foam cannon what orifice do you recommend for the cannon with this unit Thanks
@@KB-2018 You can run either orifice the 1.1mm or the 1.25mm. If you want to stress the unit a little less you can run the 1.25mm or you want the crazy thick foam run the 1.1mm. You don't run the foam cannon a long period of time so 1.1mm is safe.

I saw this pressure washer and a review of it but wasn't sure as it seemed like they were marketing it for the company. Nice to see an honest review and getting good numbers, plus the foam cannon isn't bad for one that comes with it. I don't have a place to mount this but it is appealing to have a retractable unit. I also agree, worth getting with the better hose if anything for the better experience.
Thanks for the review Keav. I've had this unit (with the gray hose) for a number of months and it's worked flawlessly. I have it teamed up with a McKillans short gun and MJJC v.2 foam cannon and I'm happy.
Great video. Thank you for such detailed review. I truly appreciate the honest reviews. I’m glad you did not sign any contracts. I never sign contracts either
Lost so many good opportunities by not signing anything. I don’t mind doing it for a sponsored ad or something like that because it’s not a review. Most of these companies want you to make the video look like a review and fake it. Big difference between a commercial and a review.
The original PRO was not worth it in my opinion. It didn’t perform anywhere near the price. Maybe they fixed the issues because in that price range there are some exceptional machines.
@@Godfather44055 Comet 1700 is all in one, but reel is not retractable comes with 70 foot hose. Did a review on that recently. Hello friend great review. I would like to buy this but i want it to attach it to my garage but what do u recomend to attach it since im planning on doing it to the 2x4
Love this review! Been looking into one of these or getting a craftsman 2100psi unit. How has the g20 held up for you? Would love the wall mount and hose reel features. All it would be used for is washing my vehicles! Thank you!

Looks nice, but I'd rather have a diy wall setup where if something breaks it can be replaced alone instead of the whole system. Giraffe used to sell a standalone unit with great numbers for only $140
I agree on the wall setup. If you were using this Mounted outside I see the use case for it or somebody who doesn’t want to be bothered with all the components and wants auto retract.
Is it the original one with the black hose? Those didn’t track great. You can adjust the slider somehow to get back in line. The newer ones are much better at staying in sync on the retraction.
Is there a way to use this but not mount it to the wall? I am renting a house and want one but don’t wanna drill big ol holes in a house that ain’t mine haha
Because of the inlet hose location it would still need to be mounted on a cart or even just a few pieces of wood. You could elbow from the bottom to come out the side. It will be lower than the base so needs to be elevated with the cart or boards. You would then need enough weight or counterbalance to make sure when you pull the hose it doesn’t fall over. It for sure is doable.
Depends on your budget really. I myself for washing cars would make my own, but that setup would be around $400 to $500 using Active VE52 or 2.0. This for me is more for cleaning the back porch.
I have never tried the Chemical Guys so I can’t comment completely, but some I know have tested it and and based on their numbers this G20 would be close to 20% higher PSI and flow with the 3.0 nozzle. It’s all opinion though and it’s what you like. The G20’s higher PSI would make it a more all around for the house. IMO here is a video from a reviewer I trust ruclips.net/video/Ej5VrLviIcg/видео.html
I would say its close to the same except smaller form factor and different way of being mounted. The auto retract on this one seems more refined. The pump and performance numbers are very close as well.
For sure just would need to make sure the cart is balanced for the weight and pressure of pull the hose. It being larger and the inlet location would limit the locations you could install it.
If washing cars a good bit Active 2.0 all day. Every once in a while and using for other jobs I think this is a good one. Also depends on your technical ability to do your own upgrade path.

Hey, what are the measurements? I’m concerned it will sit very far off the wall. The website lists sizes, but doesn’t specify what side those measurements belong to
Mounted on the wall. From wall to front 20 inches, width is 14 inches and top to bottom is 17 inches. That’s my best try as there are a lot of curves. Another thing to consider once the inlet hose is on it adds 3 inches to the bottom minimal to make sure you don’t link the hose. If you wan an elbow from the inlet you could save some room for sure there. I will start adding these measurements in future videos.
@@CarsWithKeav How many inches does it stick out from the wall when it's swiveled all the way to the side? I suspect it may be useful to store it like that (assuming it sticks out less) and then swivel it out straight when you want to use it. Also, how far does the Plus+ stick out from the wall? And which of these would you recommend vs the other (performance seems similar with this one, even if maybe a bit better)?

It won’t harm the pressure washer just drop the PSI to a level I myself would not use, but some do go that high as it will increase flow.

Voltage drop doesn’t occur until 200’. 14awg is rated for 15A up to 200’ any further you need to up to 12awg
Correct, problem is most people have 16awg cheap extension cords which isn’t even rated for full 15A.
