i've listened to this album in full 53 times in the past 3 weeks, without skipping a day, even listening to it on repeat sometimes, even up to 8 times! it's one of my favorite albums of all time, and an absolute masterpiece of music
This is definitely one of thier more abstract songs,I'd you will. I think the underlying massage imo is consumerism and mass media keeping people distracted. But not great if you don't knownthier whole catalog. Good reaction though. Love from Downey ca.
I guess I never viewed metal from the normie perspective before, I was hooked the second I heard it. The idea that heavy and angry music would put someone in a bad mood is completely alien to me and everyone I ever knew that listens to metal. Yes, its intensity can energise and make you power through reps at the gym, but I have never in my life heard anyone associate metal music with a bad mood before. According to studies it serves as a cathartic experience, so I don't know where this idea comes from.
Wow. Thanks for the closed caption. Otherwise, I wouldn't have understood the lyrics. It's a hard driving song for sure and not one I'll find myself singing just before going to bed. I did find it interesting as far as creativity, but it won't find its way onto my playlist anytime soon. Always good to experience songs out of my traditional comfort zone. Thanks guys.- Hawk
❤❤❤❤ lovely shock faces and the short happy "okay." Lol old system was wild.i first heard this when I was prob 13 or 14 but it had been out for a 2ish years by then I believe lol. Fun fact is this song was what caug ht tech nine's attention, not surprisingly he loved it and helped him to want to reach out later to make a song with serj " straight out the gate " you might like that one it is very different. Aerials ( by SOAD not a cover) is some thing you might like the video is kinda weird but that's my own opinion of course, and their songs Lost in Hollywood , and Holy Mountains, all three are more singing with heavish breakdowns, spiders is weird heavy and good with singing. Lol also serj did some of his solo songs with a orchestra, called the Elect the Dead symphony which is really really good. The songs "Sky is Over" and "Empty Walls " are beautifully redone with the orchestra and series voice. Also his system of a downs songs "Prison Song" "I.E.A.I.O.U." are really good heavy songs :)
I would not have suggested this as your first SOAD song. I would probably have gone with either Toxicity, Chop Suey, or BYOB. Still appreciate the reaction. Cheers.
Well, you guys really went to another galaxy when it comes to your comfort zone. And it wasn't even a coffee request. 😮 I personally was never into System of a Down. At least unless it's a song I didn't know was by them. Heavy metal is filled with many sub genres and this style isn't in my normal range. Your grunts sound like Tim Taylor on Tool Time.😅 Fair play guys. Your expesssions had me laughing in a pitch that made Meatball give me a dirty look.😂 Ill give some more metal requests soon that are in lighter metal that i think you'll enjoy more.😊
Reaccionar a algo que no conoces te hace parecer como un par de bobos. Uuh Pero para que tengan una idea y vaya a burlarse de su ignorancia, esta es una de las mejores bandas de rock de todos los tiempos.
i love their first album so much, i adore every track.
underrated & underappreciated debut album, sadly 😢

All can say is that it's wild and crazy! 😵💫

Hello BP's, I was hoping that you might bring back Haley Reinhart and PostModern Jukebox covering "All About That Bass" by Megan Trainor.
