Hi, I'm a huge fan of the original OutRun game but not too familiar with Turbo OutRun. I see these videos and I'm thinking - what is this? A mod? A new game? What's been changed/updated? Bear in mind, if these videos can confuse me - a huge OutRun fan - then they're going to confuse a lot of people. I really think you should make a video explaining this project and exactly what you've done. Have you hacked the arcade ROM? Built a new game for another platform? You should put a link in the description of every video where we can get an introduction to this project! Otherwise, it's all a bit meaningless to anyone unless they happen to be familiar with the original game.
Of course! I'm trying to draw a new car, but it's going to be an HD one. Not sure it will fit in and I might have to downscale it. I'm not an artist though so it's not going to be the prettiest. I'm also going to try to double the amount of races in the original mode by introducing divisions. And I'm also going to add some extra modes. The first one will probably something like a "just drive" mode where the road is randomly generated and where you don't have a time limit. Maybe I'll add fuel in that mode and some gas stations.
@@Reprogrammed_By_SEGA Multiplayer is something I would really like to do, but it's going to be a difficult one. Mainly because I have to generate 2 environment meshes which will have a big impact on performance. Online multiplayer is pretty much out of the question. I have no idea how I have to program that 😆
@@FWORX711 Actually it's just the hard difficulty setting, but traffic will simply ignore your presence and your opponent is't going to hold back if he can't get around you. I'm going to add a new oppoonent that will deliberately try to hit you.

It's a prototype version of Turbo Outrun for the modern ages,I wonder if SEGA would take this idea ahead
