Thanks so much going there in may
Thanks for the great review of my beloved town, home for the last 16 plus years. Something that was missed out on mentioning, is the concept that we are a coal mining town, before being a tourist town. :)
Thanks for the info, interesting to know.
Yuppers! The #1 economy is/was/has been Coal Mining (hence the worlds biggest truck located in Sparwood) The #2 was logging (hence the saw mill in Elko) & #3 is tourism. @@CubbyVanLife
💜 Fernie. I absolutely love the drive through that area. Thanks, great video.
Thanks for watching and commenting.
You guys are awesome and a great little video of a town I've called home for 27 years.
Nice! Anything we left out that folks should know about your fabulous ville?
Another great representation of a place I've never been but now hope to go! Thank you both!
You’re quite welcome Rosemary and thanks for watching. Fernie is truly awesome for outdoor lovers.

We’d Love to meet you two on the road someday if you cann get yourselves outta Washington for awhile. 😚
And thanks for the comment!
correction, not all Canadian provincial parks are free: some do indeed charge day use fees (sometimes per head).
Thanks for the heads up.
This is a great video
Thank you so much!!
I made it to Fernie a couple days ago. Rolled thru there , week 3 into a solo cross country motorcycle ride. Though of you guys. Hope all is well.
Nice, did you stay a night or just roll through? Wish we were there now. It’s stinking hot and humid here in Tennessee
@CubbyVanLife I stayed in a motorcycle campground 2 hours before there. It's beautiful thru the crowsnest pass. I've traveled the Trans Canada Highway from east to west. This has to be my favorite road to ride yet.
@@joecaines1160 nice , thanks Joe
Alex Lifeson will concur.......
I had no idea he was from Fernie, thanks for sharing!
The chips were Heinz?
Yes
Old Dutch
sorry to hear they made you do the testing, as if that would stop anything... waste of time and resources
Agreed. Thankfully that’s over now. We’re currently in Ontario and crossing the border couldn’t have been easier
