Such an amazing conversation with these 2. I love when Claire talks about telling her kids to be kind why isn’t she kind to herself. It’s so true! I always tell my best friend when she is so hard on herself imagine it was me and I was telling her the exact story and she would be so kind and uplifting, so I always say please treat yourself like you would others ❤

I'm really pleased to see the two of them recognising that while acting has long hours etc, it is by no means the only profession which has long hours and high stress. And that actually their lives were pretty good but because they were young they didn't realise it. I have had to stop listening to the Michael Rosenbaum podcast ( he was on Smallville) because he complains so much: what a hassle it was to have to learn lines, getting up early, long hours, being away from his home city etc. He should try being a soldier perhaps. And he is certainly old enough to have that reflection.
Acting on a tv series can pay extraordinarily well. I would guess that all of the people on those shows were able to buy a house at the end of it, get free stuff sent to them, now get flown around the world to attend conventions where they literally get paid to sit around chatting to their friends.
