Merlin's RAP System is DISCRIMINATORY

Ride Access Pass (RAP) user discrimination has become a major issue at Merlin theme parks in 2024!
Merlin's RAP system, which is partnered with Nimbus Disability, is a virtual queueing system intended to improve the accessibility of queuing for disabled guests at Alton Towers, Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures and Legoland Windsor. It seeks to yield great benefit to its users but has seen drastic changes for 2024 considered by many to be discriminatory, with users now required to pre-book reservations to use RAP on the day of their park visit on a limited first come first served basis! As a RAP user myself, I am extremely disappointed and believe I have a duty to use my platform as a means to draw awareness to these issues. Such feelings are further amplified by the fact that I, along with many other RAP users, have campaigned for several months for Merlin to resolve the numerous issues resulting from the current system but have received very little acknowledgement. Join me as I discuss the various concerns that have been expressed regarding the system, along with Merlin's wider apparent attitude towards disabled guests.
