Yeah I wish the Apple magsafe charger or the Belkin boost charge pro also had detachable cables so you can have different cables for different lengths like on the ESR charger 😒
I’ve tested the LEIRUI branded USB-C extension cables and they work very well, even with high wattage and Thunderbolt 4. Get the shortest one you can for best performance.
How strong was the magnetic force of the ESR Halolock? Would really appreciate if you could provide the the actual measured results, as I am designing a car mount myself currently and this info would help a lot
I used a 33w Xiaomi brick on the ESR halolock that I bought last week and it charged my 15PM from 19 to 74% in 1h30. I’m very happy with it and the stand is super handy. The cable is also longer than the average and the temperature stays warm, never too hot.
A month ago I got the OtterBox MagSafe charger and it’s my first MagSafe for my 14. Got an amazing deal at $16 because on Amazon they go for 39 CDN. Was hoping it would’ve been included in this test. It definitely regulates the heat well and it will get warm and then it cools down but still charges continuously and it’s a 6.6 foot cable.
So the Belkin ranged from 37-38 degrees. It was in middle like most with its temp. Little bit warmer than the Apple magsafe charger and mophie charger but not as warm as ankers charger.
All are fairly close to apples magsafe charger but if there were two that were identical to apples magsafe chargers dimensions it would be the mous and native union chargers that I tested in this video
Good video! A couple technical additions: 0-20% is actually in the zone where batteries charge fastest, so a faster charger will take even more of a lead if tested from 0%, see second note: Only MFM certified chargers do 15W wireless ‘MagSafe’ charging. So that’s the Belkin and Apple chargers here. All others are regular Qi chargers, just with magnets, and are limited to 7.5W max. If you’re interested in seeing the wattage measured, I just posted a video on it. Thanks for the great comparison!
Getting the magsafe charging animation doesn’t necessarily mean you would be getting 15w of charging. I’ve reviewed several in the past that gave me that animation and I didn’t get 15w. The recent review I did on some magnetic battery packs which included the Baseus 20K battery pack and the iWalk Mag-X both gave me that animation and they both state that they support up to 15w but they never got up to 15w of charging. The highest they got was 7.5w
What was the Magnetic strength like on the Belkin Boostcharge? Been looking into 3D printing an adapter to use this as a car mount but I’m worried it might not be strong enough to hold my IPhone in a car lol
The magnetic strength for the Belkin was definitely up there and not too far from the anker power wave charger. It was better than most of these in magnetic strength 👍
Would you get any of these magnetic chargers or do you prefer wired charging?
I wish you put up the magnetic results for all the chargers, I'm curious about the morphie strength
Honestly I prefer the Apple charger with the 20 watt adapter. Just wish the cable was longer

Yeah I would want that too!
I always order longer Anker cords from Amazon

My guy. You realize the Belkin comes with a 27w charger so using your 25watt charger you lowered the charge time.

The apple MagSafe is it true that it gets hot and kills your phone screen

did you measure the temps with the kickstand propped up or not?@@T3CHUP
@T3CHUO Kindly make comparison video of all QI2 MagSafe wireless charger available
Yup, at some point I will do that 👍
Hi, which brand have the same size like apple magsafe (diameter and thick). Thanks

Is the ESR Qi2 compatible??
ESR will be coming out with Qi2 chargers soon. This one that I tested in the video wasn’t a Qi2 charger.

Not all chargers give the Meg safe animation?? So it's not charging at 15w if no animation??

@@T3CHUP i still like the animation tho :)

@@T3CHUP thanks for the info, I really appreciate it! 😁
Are they all 15w speed?
No, some of these were 7.5w/10w chargers. I provided that info in the beginning when going over them before all the tests 👍
