V-Ray Frame Buffer - Razor Crest VFX Lecture 06

All you need to know to get started with the V-Ray Frame Buffer or VFB. We're not covering the Light Mix or Composite features, just the basics.
These lectures were originally built for a college VFX class that I teach, taking students from beginner to intermediate level. Over the course of this 9-hour course, brush up on PBR surfacing with UDIMs, learn about lighting, AOVs, render layers, batch and sequence rendering, EXR compositing, and ACEScg with Maya, V-Ray, and After Effects.

Great Tutorial. Please help! The DISPLAY CORRECTION under the Layer panel in my VRAY FRAME buffer is not showing, Please help me get it back, i use Vray 5. Thank You.

Does it not show "Properties" at all? If so, there's a dotted separator at the very bottom of the panel. You can grab that and pull it up to expand the "Properties" menu.

Is there any difference between vray 5 and vray next?

Yes, there are quite a few new features and changes in V-Ray 5. The VFB in Next looks fairly different from 5.
