Rejection is just redirection. Keep fighting! 💪
Yes that’s right! ;)
Stumbled upon this. Just want to take a moment to thank you for sharing your experience and thoughts. I am sure this will help out some folks to navigate their own journeys!
Good video, thanks for sharing! What were their salary offering?
I started feeling like the interviews every 6 months were a demographic “check the box” thing! Did your story start with being at Google before or after Meta?
Haha same here! I joined google after Meta and I’m happy to be here :)
It was good video about Meta interview :) Then I have a question about rejection reason 3 : If career fit is not good enough and rejected at on-site interview stage, why interviewer give an accept at the stage of screening? because interviewer already know about background and career fit though screening interview.
Good question! I think sometimes career fit can be a very vague rejection reason. And a real reason could be not bonding well with interviewers, or not demonstrating skill set in a very clear way etc. career fit is just a very general term companies use to politely reject candidates
Could you share what feedback you got from your Onsite interview?
Sure! So Meta said that I needed to communicate better about my design thought process in the whiteboard exercise
Thank you for your reply! I have an upcoming interview and I’m so nervous. What was your whiteboarding prompt for both the times? 🙇🏻♀️
Thank you so much for sharing the real story🫶🏻
