Very important video, because especially in the starting phase of your career, rejection is almost a given, until it is not. What everyone needs is some employer or hiring manager who is willing to take a chance on you. Experience is nice, but let's be honest, if you only apply for jobs you are experienced in, then where is your growth? When I am asked to be part of the process, I'm looking for someone who is eager, who is enthusiastic and who has the mindset to do the job. Having some experience helps, but personality is much more important to me. It's how I got my job and I think it is how people grow towards bigger and better things. Awesome video.
I got to the final stage of interviews for my dream job and got rejected yesterday. It hurt so badly. That company had many opportunities for upward mobility. I can't take care of my elderly mother on my current salary and my current company has no room for growth and doesn’t give raises.
A few days ago, I was rejected from the job that I always wanted to be, I thought in mind that I did a great impression on my interview but at the end of the day, I was not the right fit for the position I guess. I actually passed all of the stages for the position and I even was selected as one the final candidates, but I could not get it and that broke my heart really bad, so I am trying to forget it as each day pass, I am hoping in the near future I could get another shot.
I definitely needed this video, I just got rejected for a dream job yesterday and it hurt because of how much effort I put into every part of the interview process, I got to the final round of interviews but they chose someone else. Trying to view it in a different light and say that the role was not meant for me and that is okay, I will put my energy into a place that was meant for me! I love what you said at the end it really hit home! Thank you

Glad I found this video. I got to the final stages of the interview process, cultural fit interview. I literally fetl like I nailed and it and was so confident I got the job, Was stunned when I got the rejection. It hurts, but it is there loss. I always tell myself that. I know my skill set and what I can do I am not going to let a company make me feel bad about myself. They made a mistake. Always tell yourself that!

I have 20 yrs of being a sales engineer and being rejected on just average jobs from a small sabbatical for metal health reasons. These are good tips.
Unfortunately, we get rejected for jobs that we want and, therefore, it hurts. If you apply and get a crappy job that nobody wants, will you feel better? NO!
