Hello, I like the way you did tutorial. Two questions when connecting fabrics together can you do a straight or running stitch on it by hand? If so how many inches would you fold your fabric down is it 1 or 2 inches? I can not remember. Thanks.
Yes, you can use a sewing machine or hand stitching. I would think a running stitch would work the best, but a running or straight should work fine. If I am understanding, you want to fold the edge over to make a finished edge, I don't think there is a right or wrong amount. I do one inch when I am sewing, some do less some do more.
This is a super helpful tutorial! I love what your pillow looks like & this was really easy to follow, thank you!!
Your welcome. glad it was helpful.

You just leave the excess from the backing? How does the back look when you are done? Ty
yes, you just fold the extra backing under and sew it to your pillow. the back will be whatever pillow you have.
