How to apply Super Grip non slip spray to your latch hook rugs

- Super Grip clear spray creates a synthetic rubber coating that is perfect for use on the back of Latch Hook Rugs when completed and bonds to most types of fabrics. Not only does it stop your rug from slipping on your tiled/laminate floors it also helps secure the yarn knots on the back of your latch hook rug helping to prevent them from coming loose. It is also washable, so if you trust your washing machine or wash by hand your latch hook rugs, it is great.

do you use this on the back of the latch hook project once done or is there a spray you can use it on the front too to keep the yarn from being fuzzy ? do you have any videos on how to make your project into a pillow?
Hi Rhonda. Thanks for your message. The Super Grip is used on the back of your project once it has been finished. Don't spray it on the front as it is a rubber spray and you will loose the soft texture of your yarn. The best way to get rid of the fluff that comes off it is to put on rubber washing up gloves or use a lint roller and stroke your project in different directions. This will lift the fluff away. Also yes, I have video on how to make your project into a pillow. It is on my channel where you saw this video, I have 5 video tutorials in all. Hope this helps. Regards Clare

Hi Erefuro. It is called Super Grip and is made by Pasticote. I buy it in large quantities and sell it on my website but unfortunately we cannot ship this product overseas. Clare

After this, can I wash it in a wash machine?
Hi Neli. I can't speak for other kit companies but with my kits yes. However, if you trust your washing machine and on a gentle wash only, then maybe but it is up to you. The spray is perfectly washable and will do no damage. Is it a latch hook you are wanting to wash or another item? Regards Clare
Should I do this before binding or after?
Hi Michelle. You can do either before or after but if you haven't bound your rug yet I would do it before then it protects right up to the edges.
