I know I am two years late to this but if you are still watching, I thank you so much for posting this. I hook with yarn because there are no wool shops near me and I was feeling so discouraged because I could not get my yarn to look like wool strips! Now I know why and that it is not supposed to. I can't wait to start again.
Can't count how many beginner rug hooking videos I've watched and until now I could not figure out how all the moving parts work together. Your simple but effective explanation is much appreciated.
Thank you for doing beginner videos. I find them very informative and helpful. I am fairly new at rug hooking and I love how your videos are straight and to the point.
I just learned about your channel on on a Ribbon Candy RUclips! It was very nice to meet you Wednesday evening. I could tell by your contributions that you were very knowledgeable. I've subscribed and I'm looking forward to learning from you about how to do the wonderful craft.
Hi I am a beginner...starting with a small kit. I have a problem holding the hoop and being successful in hooking yarn onto my hook...it seems I do not have enough hands so to speak...wonder if there is a trick to master this. Tks so much.
Thank you for this informative video! My question is for rug hooking, do you need to stretch the burlap taut on an embroidery hoop/frame or are the loops going to be secure without it?
