I have this exact latch hook and have had it lying around for 20ish years and got it when I was 8ish too! Thanks for sharing your ideas...I will be able to deal with my 20 year old craft haha

Oh wow! The coincidences are amazing. At first I considered just hanging it, but it looks awesome as a pillow, and practical too! Good luck dealing with your old project :)

Thanks, I thought I would use an old pillowcase, but wasn't sure how to, now I can finish my piece of work off

    Hi, thanks for the video.
I am right now latch hooking my first rug. I don't use a ready-made layout but I've designed my own pattern. What I wonder: is it really that important to start at one edge and do one row at a time? I would love to do the most prominent features of my rug first and work around it afterwords. Is that possible? Thanks

Smiling -- I started a $2 bill rug so my son could count his money on it instead of the floor. I've not finished it - and he's now 50 years old and not speaking to me since 2003. Oh well.
