- This video is my full detailed review after 21 Days With Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra! have been using the S21 Ultra for 3 weeks, nearly a month now since my unboxing, and I have some serious thoughts! Real-world everyday use, not just the specs! How good is the 108MP quad-camera setup, and battery performance? @@crunchym2297 - Yeah and in those two years you just pay the sum for the device + the service you get from the service provider, so it ends up being the same as if you bought the phone outright and had a sim plan for 2 years. I have no clue why people are scared of contracts lol.

Only if you don't mention which picture is shot on which phone you will get honest results.
It's not just that but Smartphone manufacturers each have their own version of True tone colors screens. No 2 people on different brands will see the same colors.
I agree 100% I have the Samsung S21 Ultra and I am very disappointed in the photo/video quality. When I see people comparing the phone quality to the quality of the iPhone 12 pro, I am genuinely stunned at their response. All the S21 Ultra photos I have seen have looked washed out and/or had tons of image noise. I most likely will be returning this phone for the iPhone 12 pro. I love how I can multitask but the constant freezing and shaking of the phone and the poor image quality is almost a dealbreaker.
@@zorawatts2409 I hope you're aware that Android devices are not just Point and Shoot when it comes to the camera. The images you get will only be as good as you make it out to be. That's why there's a Pro-Mode, for you to tweak the noise, white balance, shutter delay, quality, etc. Hopefully you know this before making a mistake with returns.
No, I did not know that! How can I make my images sharper? I am far from a pro photographer so I dont want to spend a ton of time editing photos

The s21 ultra is better, it has a better processor, camera, no lag whatsoever.

yep I was so excited of upgrading the s20 to the s21 but 1080p no sd card plastic back and the s20 cost more no chance but you make a good point the ultra is just too big for my hands and the weight is too heavy so I'll stick with my s20

Smaller phones can't accommodate big size batteries which 1440p & high refresh screens require.

Yet iPhone screens still look just as good or better. Samsung not utilizing those 120hz enough. It just looks really bright, and to me that’s not really something I care about. It just needs to be bright enough.

The S-pen for S21U is larger than the one coming with the Note series, so you get more to hold on to making writing and drawing easier. This is its biggest plus.
There's ALSO an S pen Pro! It's slightly bigger with More features
Plus you can go back and forth with) between this and let's say the s7 plus with one stylus you didn't had to buy separately.
I still have my S9+ that I got on launch day almost 3 years ago. Despite using it nonstop like a tablet all day/everyday since then it still works fine. Honestly, it having the Headphone jack is one of the reasons I'm holding onto it. Great designed phone too.

I was using my Note 3+ up til recently. I had to upgrade phones because a couple app's I need for work aren't compatible with the Note 3 :(

I have the s 21 and it's basically the same phone only smaller most of the features the ultra have over it most can live with that

@@GHSTSTRSCRM u got Google cloud that holds pics and videos and u can't tell me u never got a SD card error or u didn't have to format it again cause I have.and I never said I was everybody else but this my opinion.
Using this alongside my tab s7 plus, the S pen compatibility can come in handy. If you work with the pen on the tablet, you easy can switch to the phone if needed. Love that they packed this feature in. It's useful for the 5% that use it that way.
Great review, ASBYT. As a Note user since the Note 2, I am enjoying the spen with the S21 Ultra. The S21 spen is easier to write. Although it's not part of the phone, I am cool with the case. I just hope they come out with one that is leather or non lint magnet. As for the sd card, it is sad, but l usually save my photos and video to Google Drive anyway. Keep up the good work, brother.
Watching this on my ultra right now. One of the things I am impressed is the speakers. It sounds like a surround sound speaker when I'm watching a action movie on Netflix

Galaxy note 10plus here and it does have a hole at the top, it's difficult to completely muffle the speakers and they are great 👍
Anyone that is coming from the Note 20 ultra, can check if speakers volume are as S21 Ultra?
I like the idea of having the option of using the S Pen. I don't think I'll be using it much during day to day use, but as a waiter I can imagine using it a lot for work - substituting the paper pad and pen for the S21 Ultra

Good review, I've been a lifetime iPhone user and recently switched to the s21 ultra, two weeks in and im really happy with it, I switched from iPhone 11 so it was a major improvement. I noticed that its very helpful for employees, really convenient to work from your phone when on the move with features like text extract to name one. its also really fast and the battery lasts for a long time which is great. its not for everyone, like I think it could be a waste of money if you're not going to use any of the features

I've upgraded from the s10 plus to the s21 ultra and its been fantastic so far. Not sure why they removed the expandable storage as that would have been useful but size wise they are both similar. The S21 ultra feels and looks very premium! Loving it so far and glad i bought it especially since I'm getting the free galaxy pro buds and smart tag as a added bonus!

I have the Note 10+. The internal antenna went bad on it last week so the phone became a paperweight. I ordered the S21 Ultra as its still S-Pen compatible. I wish it had the mini-sd card slot.
My Verizon store said that, the S-Pen, and headphone jacks were removed from the S21 in order to make the phone waterproof. Evidently people don't know how to care for their electronics properly >:(

The Note 9 will go down as one of THE all time great phones Matthew. Mine had 512Gb AND expandable storage!. I miss it's headphone jack today and the S pen with Bluetooth. It shot razor sharp and colourful 4K 60fps HDR video too and that big 1440p screen still shines today. I refused to trade mine in when I got my new 512Gb Exynos S21 Ultra and I am glad I didn't. It will always be my faithful back up phone now. I must say it shoots better quality low light video than my new phone at the moment! ( The 21 has much better stabilization and HDR though). I expect software updates to change this but LONG LIVE THE NOTE 9!.. 🤣💘
The note 9 has it all, it's even as fast as this 21 ultra and better at multitasking and uploaded apps in the background as it's the greatest to this date for ram management, I've seen videos comparing it with other top devices, that's why im going to fix my note 9 screen even tho it's like 300$ but i know it's worth it

I gotta say, I have the plus and it's enough for me. The battery is fantastic and tbh I don't need the 4 cameras and other sensor. Also, this display looks sharper on 1080 than my S9+ did on 1440 so I don't miss 1440 at all. It's a great phone man and looks awesome! Phantom Silver!

Without going full tin-foil-hat mode, I feel like the vast majority of techtubers focus on the wrong things. They seem to have an interest in creating gorgeous b rolls and funny segways, instead of providing facts and subjective opinions without coloring the whole tone towards one way or the other. I actually like having the pen compatibility. I had a very old note 4 here and the pen worked perfectly. It gave new life for my pen. I love to use it to fill forms when I need it, so I don't even need to carry the pen around.

I already have mine pre-ordered. Yes, I'm a little sad about some of the deletions Samsung made, but display and camera quality (especially zoom) are paramount to me. And the S21 Ultra has those in spades! I can't wait for it to arrive!

The A32, A52, and the galaxy A72 all have a headphone jack, SD card slot, and very comfortable stats at a much lower price ($240 for A32)

Performance and battery wise yeah sure it's a improvement... Another level well yeah it should be better than last generation? Camera wise ..? No it's worse than most flagships.

I am looking forward to upgrading to my S21 Ultra. I am bummed that they dropped the expanded storage, and had to spend extra for the 512gb variant.
Something I am more bummed about, that most reviewers have not even mentioned, is the removal of the MST payment feature. That feature removal was almost a deal breaker for me.

Samsung has designed the Exynos 2100 from scratch, using almost the same design standards as Qualcomm. So this is the reason that this Exynos version is way better than the previous one.
Not for me. it sucks for about like 3 to 5 days then it gets better after that.

I'm a Samsung Note user since the Note 3, and love the stylus. I'm realy dissappointed that they want to deliver the s-pen seperate without the option to store it in the phone it self.

I live in the UK and as someone not on a phone contact I purchased an imported note 20 ultra from Hong Kong and I didn't have to pay any import fees. Absolutely superb phone and for me great battery life. The s21 can 120hz at 1440p but to be honest I never used 120hz at 1080p on my note. What's impressed me is the fact it's a great all rounder, taking notes, playing music, surfing and a great multi tasker as well as great camera. My last phone was the note 4 so a big upgrade for me.
THANK YOU for bringing up the moving subject and blurry shot or kids or pets . . . drives me nuts! That's why year after year I keep replacing my Pixel with a Pixel, they just simply work when in comes to indoor photography of people, which is 95% of my pictures.

Note 20 ultta is better than s21 for sure. Dont bother to upgrade.
Maybe for u. Note 20 was the biggest cash grab imo. They released a phone capped at 120hz 1080p or 60hzQHD. When 3 months later every flagship started to come with both QHD+120hz at samw time. And goin forward 120hzQHD display will be the thing for atleast 3 years. And it cost 1400 bucks.
Sorry to break it to u but note 20 ultra is a waste of money. U could have waited 3 months and got a much better phone.
And plus u got the previous gen exynos which has terrible performance and battery life compared to the snapdragon version of it. Sorry for your loss man

Watch out for battery over heating when using camera. Also mine gives me 4.5hrs screen on display. I'm so disappointed
@@nadk8886 give it time to learn and also look for trouble apps draining battery. Apple music was killing my battery until I uninstalled. Now getting 5 1/2 hours SOT with 50 percent remaining after a 15 hour day.

came from an S10+ at 128gb with a same size sd card and never ran out of space. Went for the 512gb variant of the S21 and I feel it's future proofed for me at least. I also think it's a big step up from the S10+ which was an awesome handset!

About the pen thing, I'm a sales rep and when the Samsung guys came around to give us the speil, there was something about consolidating the standard line and the note line in the future. It was because something along the lines that phones were getting bigger so there isn't really any difference between the lines anymore/ planing to make all future phones pen compadable. I low-key think it's to make manufacturing cheeper & try sell more pens but idk lol. I also may not be right cause it was to early in the morning when I did the training
+ASBYT Objectively people who love tech should love when there's a device that checks the right boxes. I am a Samsung guy, but I do like the iPhone 12 Pro Max. I love tech so, I love all really good tech devices, even Huawei phones. PSA: I'm typing this on a foldable Galaxy Note 20 aka Galaxy Z Fold 2.
The iPhone 12 Pro takes amazing portraits where Samsung fails. If Samsung could fix this and re-add micro SD, they'd likely be doing a lot better with sales.
That’s one thing I miss about android, especially Samsung, they just have better displays hands down just my opinion
But the main apps are all pants compared to iOS.. and I’m currently using a Samsung.

I heard the S Pen Pro for s21 is better than note pen. Because it is Thicker (better ergonomics while drawing) and has Bluetooth support..
Subsequently higher priced. but, if you could use that with note 20, then I don't see a problem. I am personally a fan of boxier shape of note 20.

I am on the pixel 4 now. I rly need an upgrade the number 1 aspect for me is longlivity. I thought about apple but a lot (like u) chose the new Samsung . Could u tell me why ?
@@crunchym2297 I had iPhone 12 before and wasn't even expecting an upgrade with the S21 Ultra but after I saw one with my friend, I was blown away by the camera and display quality at 1st.
U can literally shoot moon pics with this one, camera is just insane trust me (Earlier I used to think iPhone 12s cameras are incredible LOL). And then the design is gorgeous, battery life is better than my iPhone, everything just works.
If u r okay with the size and the price, definitely a no brainer at this time, it's a beast (I also use S-Pen sometimes as I had old Note 2, so it's pen works for writing down my thoughts and all, I'm using my iPad pro waaay less after purchasing this one)

The SD card was the one feature keeping me with Samsung. Just ordered a Sony Xperia II. It has SD card, charger, and a headphone jack 👍
It is great and refreshing to see you take a middle ground on your review. My personal fav which I have at the moment is the Sony Xperia 1 ii and I will be awating for the next model to come out. Objectively can you do a games comparison on both versions of phones which tells you the real performance of the devices. Emulators and Fortnite online gaming performances would be great. 👍🏽

@@MrAyushguptaful the battery on my S10 is terrible. I am using the same old Exynos used on Note 20 ultra hence I didn't upgrade. The wisest upgrade would be S21 ultra but I am trying to be patient and wait for S22 ultra
@@Executive_Essy The funny part is I bought s20+ for 120hz display and o boy, it sucks battery like crazy. I have to use it on 60hz and 1080p. Same exynos 990. This year exynos chip seems promising but I am not sure about long term results.
Long term report on this device will tell for next year.

Awesome! I'm still rocking my S20+ Exynos :( and yeah it serves its purpose, don't really have any complains. I'm waiting for the Exynos-AMD for the next flagships and see how it goes.
Don't buy the S21. I switched from S20+. The battery on the 21 is terrible and the only upgrade about the camera is zoom feature. The camera on my 20, videos are a lot better. This is upsetting.
I got mine last week 512 GB in the phantom black I love mine but I don't live as much as I love my iPhone 12 pro Max it's got a better camera low light photos lidar scanner that I use every day at my job as an interior decorator it saves me time and money and time is money when you are working with that thing and all of the wonderful AR apps I just wanted to say that I just absolutely love his voice I have met many British people in my life but his is different it could be Welsh I don't know but it's the most beautiful beautiful accent on another human being that I've ever heard in my life from either England or whales or maybe Scotland I don't know where he's from but all I know is that voice is hypnotic !!
I think the use of having the S-Pen is great. The downside of the note's S-Pen is that it's too small and uncomfortable and it takes up extra space to have a bigger battery.
