Awesome video as always Bill and Deb. Y'all are so right you don't have to make it a long trip to have a great time just take two days and explore your own backyard you'll find something you never knew about your area.
Its been a few years since we've overlanded WV. It's definitely a place worth exploring. We especially like the Dolly Sods area! Beautiful country ya'll found. 💚 :)
@@CoddiwompleOverland thanks! By the way I just noticed your tail lights on this video. Are they flush mount oracles or some other brand? Do you like them?
Thanks for a great vid. You were just a little east of where my dad was born up at "Spruce" just a little north of Cass. Need to spend some time up there. Pretty counry!
I've been looking forward to seeing this video. I spotted your Gladiator at the Walmart in Quincy WV as I was leaving. I figured you were on an adventure or coming back from one. Hope you enjoyed your time in WV.
I find onx offroad nice to use. Especially when just searching for trails. You pull up the map and it is highlighted. Then i go to youtube double check for videos on that trail. I would use gaia but find i struggle with the interface.
Living in WV I’ve been on basically all the trails you’ll find on OnX or trailsoffroad for WV. I’m glad you enjoyed your weekend, but I know when I spent a few days doing the trails I was very disappointed. WV trails are just slow and tight, which is fine but once I went to CO, MT, WY, and UT all east coast trails just bore me.
That looks so nice for having a stream side camping spot to take my daughter flyfishing. I have driven over the new river gorge bridge many times but didnt know there was a trail beside the river. Can you get a toyota tundra to those campsites you showed in your video?
@@CoddiwompleOverland yeah i have been contemplating getting a wrap put on my truck to mitigate that. I have also thought about buying a small electric chainsaw for the stuff that really sticks out over the trails
Hey Bill & Deb, I ran some of those trails on ATV's about 20yrs ago. It was beautiful. But yes, some places are wide enough for 2 way traffic and others are 48"-50" max.
Not a huge fan of ONX. Call me crazy but I feel GAIA is more intuitive and informative. ONX looks cool and has good features, but I appreciate more information.
Hahaha, Aspen barking at the drone still cracks me up!
Yeah, he is a pain...😂

Thanks for following along!
Great episode! We love WV. One of our favorites! ❤
It's beautiful!
"Live to work instead of work to live." Like it. Mine is, "I have a life that is interrupted by work." Thanks for sharing.
That is a fact.. Thanks for watching.
My favorite state for camping

When we went to the Dolly Sods it was gated at the time.
@CoddiwompleOverland oh man that stinks that it was gated. :( Just means we'll all have to go back sometime! 👍
Definitely
Very good video 👍👍
Thanks!
Great video!
Thank you!
Another great video! Watching from Nicaragua!
Thanks for watching from Nicaragua, and thanks for the work you do.

Yes, they are Oracles and we do like them.
@@CoddiwompleOverland thanks. Been thinking about getting some
Some people say they have had issues, but so far, we have not.

Thank you, we enjoyed it.
Great video sir! I really like the low flying drone footage! Very different from what everyone else does. Good stuff! Happy trails!
Thank you!

Gaia is harder to use.

Out west is amazing.
Let’s go back to it !! I already bagged my buck 😂

Not to far from me! Have you all been to Greenbank?
No, we have not.

Yes, but expect some pin stripes.

Completely understand.
Coddy, did you leave an updated trail report on OnX so future users will have more accurate info for the trail?
