My wife and I were there at the same time you guys were, and left because of the same weather!!!! That’s crazy!!! We would have loved to meet you guys and we would like to add that Captain Bob with Davis ferry service was very helpful with us as well!! We drove back to Sarah’s Creek Campground last Wednesday after leaving the island to finish our vacation plans there because it’s not far from where we live.

We were in a 2020 black rubicon pulling a small teardrop camper that we built in 2019 during the pandemic, it’s grey with the name we gave it call Rubicamper to match the Jeep. No need for sorry my friend, one day we’ll meet up on a trail and I’ll get to shake your hand and thank you in person for all the videos you’ve made that has helped my wife and I enjoy some beautiful overlanding trips. Thanks again and keep the awesome videos coming!! 😁

Nice trip. I added that to the list of places I want to check out. We beach camped in Florida in January and one of the days was insanely windy and cold. Really a challenge to cook so good practice for sure. Looking forward to seeing your Wyoming adventure. Safe travels.

Great video story as usual. I keep meaning to get up there for a beach ride and will hopefully do this summer. I'd love to camp out on the beach, but after watching many other video's, the NC beach locations are not the most hospitable places overnight.

Very interesting as I’ve been considering going to cape lookout. Maybe our paths will cross as I’m leaving next weekend for Wyoming and Montana..plan is to run the bdr in Wyoming then Yellowstone,grand teaton,and glacier (

Yes, we left a day earlier that wind and sand was crazy.
@@CoddiwompleOverland you're not lying. We had to anchor our tent to the truck plus the ground. I still have sand in the bed of my truck lol
We are still cleaning ours. We think it's clean and then we find more sand.
@CoddiwompleOverland it's never ending. I just build my drawer system and of course sand got into the slides. That's gonna be fun to clean.
I’m about 30 minutes from the Croatan camp area. Felt your pain with the wind and sand. Definitely not my favorite.
