      Thanks. I don’t have any current plans for getting a larger tube light for now. Maybe when Aputure (rather than amaran) makes a two foot version I’ll probably get one. It would be great if I could afford to buy every light I see. Maybe someday.

      @@storybabble thanks. I’m trying to drastically simplify my interview lighting so I only have to bring the 200w lights when necessary.

    Great explaination as always. Can you suggest what best lighting for one man crew that fit in backpack. For wedding jobs.

    • @storybabble
      @storybabble  Год назад +1

      Thanks. A backpack is asking a lot from a light. The new MC Pro is incredibly bright and is the smallest light I have used. The problem is that it’s pretty harsh even when defused and doesn’t work well as a key light. The amaran 150x with a soft box is pretty small but it’s going to take up a lot of backpack space. Let me know what you choose.

      @@storybabble I was just about to buy the MC pro 8 light kit bag but afraid it's not soft enough. Thanks for highlighting the MC pro. I'm filming using iphone 14 pro max. Need a packable lightweight and soft light for over sharpening image by iphone. . Is amaran f22c up for it ?

    Hey, great video! i just wanted to check with you as I can see you're quite knowlaglable about lights, I was going to get a couple of these mt pto from Apature but my usecase is (moodlight) for my gaming room, mainly when I am live for like min 4h sometimes 8h or longer. My question is the following: is it ok to have these pluged in to charge all the time? or for this usecase would you recommend something different? Sort of set it an forget it and have it connegted to the outlet at all times. Thanks in advance 🍻

      I love the MT Pro. Aputure has announced a sale for next week. I don't know if the MT Pro will be on sale, but it's worth the wait to see. I have a video on the sale as soon as the sale starts. The only issue with leaving them plugged in all the time is that I had a scene burn in the image of the battery. Not a big deal, but just a heads up. If I was going to plug in lights for mood I would consider the amaran T2c (not the new ones, but the old ones are still selling). These have a removable battery so you can use them without fear plugged in. They are also 2-feet and the same price as the 1-foot MT pro. I use one as a hair light in my studio. good luck.

      Interesting. It did stick well to my C-Stand, but not well to my portable light stand. I assume it has to do with the type of metal being used in the stand. Thanks for the insight though.
