    Fantastic reverb plugin. My go to reverb now. Cinematic Rooms and EW Spaces II have dropped down to 2nd and third place. Great review too. Love it.

      @@thesampleist Just so you know, I actually got this VST after watching your walkthrough as opposed to the Paul Thompson one. Loving it :-)

      Yes, completely agree! Been using in other projects now and it’s amazing how it changes the over production sound. Clear, crisp and that Lyndhurst sound!

    Am I crazy, or is the price still a bit steep?

    • @thesampleist
      @thesampleist  6 месяцев назад +2

      Given the complexity of this particular plugin it’s our feeling that the plugin is quite reasonably priced. With 67,000 impulse responses and the sophistication of the positioning capabilities in a space like AIR Lyndhurst with front to back, side to side and up and down positioning from each of the 28 positions on the floor with the ability to raise and lower the canopy and also change the baffling materials on the canopy, the walls and the baffling materials in each of the three galleries, this is one complex plug-in that still provides a larger than life sound with a reasonable performance threshold. Many of the plug-ins that model certain rooms that are on the marketplace are simply modeled or contain a very low number of impulse responses and don’t provide anywhere near the measure of control but this one does. For us that makes a big difference.

      @@thesampleist I'ts no doubt it's an impressive plugin and there's a lot of expertise gone into it, but I'm trying to figure out what it would give me practically speaking, comparing it to my current reverbs and I don't really see that kind of a leap in quality to justify the purchase. That said, if I ever win a small sum on a lottery ticket, I will reconsider ;)

    • @Jsig-la
      @Jsig-la 6 месяцев назад

      It’s not *not* steep. Not nearly the most expensive reverb, not even in the top ten, but given its narrow focus… still, if it does one thing perfectly, and that thing is something useful to me (being able to combine SSO and other AIR Lyndhurst libraries with instruments recorded at Teldex, Zlin, EastWest, iso booth, outside, a barn, my living room etc etc), then I’ll grumble and gripe about it till the intro deal is over and have to wait for the winter sale.

    • @thomandy
      @thomandy 6 месяцев назад

      @@Jsig-la Yeah, If I had this kind of money I would probably get it, but for me 50$ plugins are sort of the roof at the time being. I'm currently just starting building up my library from scratch, 2months in, so I need to spend those money on better instruments instead I feel. But yeah, the people who made it knows it's value, and over time the market will decide if they are correct or not :) Ill stay with Raum for the time being, and upgrade one day in the future.

    nice but it is representing air studio only. deep settings possibilities, but again only one specific room.🤔

    I have a track finished, so i can just add this reverb to each instrument and it will work rigth?

    • @thesampleist
      @thesampleist  6 месяцев назад

      As long as each instrument is dry as possible, yes.

  • @marcusolivus
    @marcusolivus 20 дней назад

    you should have used instruments not recorded at Air Studio to demonstrate this reverb, i would have liked to know how non-Spitfire libraries sound through it

    • @thesampleist
      @thesampleist  20 дней назад

      Hello. Yes, so the Olafur Arnold’s Toolkit was recorded in Iceland and the British Drama Toolkit was recorded in a purpose built Spitfire Audio dry studio. So I went with three Air Studio libraries and two none. Then the composition had a bout 40 non Air Studio libraries so you can see how it all comes together. I thought it was a good representation of how the reverb works in different settings. Also, it’s a Spitfire Audio video so we tend not to discuss other developers which I made clear. Although there are a lot of non Air Studio instruments in this video. Thanks!

  • @juancrimusic9673

    does it work if I don't have only spitfire libraries?

    • @thesampleist
      @thesampleist  3 месяца назад

      Hi, thank you for your question. Yes, AIR Reverb will allow you to use libraries and plugged ins from anyone else and place your instruments inside of AIR Lyndhursthall Hall to allow you to experience the experience of performing inside of that amazing space.

    • @marcusolivus
      @marcusolivus 20 дней назад

      @@thesampleist you should have demonstrated that as well then, instead you only used libraries recorded at AIR, not representative even if you're only using the close mics

    Hello how many instruments can we put inside at the same time? In vienna mir pro 24 or more on the master with one reverb. Is it possible to do the same?

    • @thesampleist
      @thesampleist  6 месяцев назад +1

      It works a bit differently to MiR so you can’t really put all the instruments inside the same room in the plug-in and move them around. But obviously you can for various groupings of instruments and single instruments. I’d personally do as I normally would and route each section to a reverb and set it accordingly. Hope that helps!
