This is great actually for $99. I wasn't quite ready to go for the $350 version, but seeing as this one still includes the depth/position I will most likely be buying this next! 👍
Interesting, but when it comes to positioning the instruments in the room, you need one insert effect per instrument! It wouldn't make sense to use this reverb as a classic send effect in this case. Even in a small cinematic orchestral setup you need a lot of insert reverbs, so the plugin has to be very cpu friendly.
First, NICE! BUT- Having only the Core Version of BBCSO, does it make any sense for me since I can't choose the CLOSE MIC only? Or is meant more for additional instruments, since it was already recorded in this hall? Also, how light is this on CPU? Because sending every instrument section to a different position, I'd have to load about 10 instances right?
Hi Paul! Great idea here! So, does this become another version of this library I already have in full version, or an update totally? Not in studio right now, but figured I'd ask. Thanks again!
@@ElectroPanPipes OK but never seen it anywhere in the plugin. I guess I need to investigate. .I've only used in on a couple of things. I had to remove it on a session recently due to crashing my DAW. Once I removed it, the crashes stopped. I guess it's a known bug with several DAW's Running ProTools latest version.. I have other DAWs, but for mixing in film an ATMOS, it's what I am using for that deliverable in my ATMO facility here. In stereo it was happening, so I am hearing there is an update coming next week.
@@NilsFLindbergYeah, which wasn’t available when people (like me) paid for the full whack version. I’m glad that this is now available for cheaper, but I’m annoyed that an ‘essential’ version wasn’t available 4/5 months ago at release, I would’ve happily purchased that instead. Here we are.

Now we're talking! Price is spot-on for what it offers.

This is a killer reverb , it’s add more than just reverb
Oh wow! That's great news! Now I'm in! :D
I'd really love to have some tailored presets for the different sections of BBC Symphony Orchestra (Strings, Woodwinds, Brass, Percussion).
For a reverb I would definitely like a demo
this l;ooks like the perfect reverb for me at the perfect price to match!
I like the off stage trumpet Prokofiev Lieutenant Kijé (Suite), Op. 60 comes to mind. I played that many times.

Are you able to use the multiple layouts if i want to put something in the gallery?

Is there anywhere I can find a list of the actual features missing in the essential version? Can’t find it on the website
I would welcome to give the user of the Pro version the possibility to toggle between ‘Essentials’ and ‘Pro’ mode within the Pro UI
is there an upgrade path to the full version?
Yes there is. I own the Essentials version and I can purchase the full version for $250
Will users that own AIR Reverb get this update for free?
It's not an update. It's obviously a less advanced version costing significantly less money.
