She reviews her weekend doing shows at the Mirage in Vegas and at Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, which was crazy fun with the PGA Waste Management Phoenix Open and Super Bowl LVII week kicking off in the area. Kathleen is excited to cheer on the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, wearing her Pawtrick Meowhomes tee designed by her good friends at Raygun.

“HOLY SHIT THEY FOUND IT”: Kathleen is amazed to read about the discovery of a 4,700-year-old tavern unearthed in Iraq, and the “oldest” mummy recorded to date has been found in Egypt.

A note about service dogs in training: I was a volunteer puppy raiser for a future service dog. We raised him from 11 months to 2 yrs. We had all kinds of rules and couldn't raise him like a normal pet and we went to all kinds of venues to get him used to different sights and sounds. However, he just wanted to be with all the people. Love all the people. So he flunked service dog school. They asked me first if I wanted him back. I said YES before asking anyone else in the family. He's a therapy dog now and that's perfect for him. Now you know how that goes for the flunkies. He's 8 now and very spoiled and happy.

A few things from New Orleans artist termites. You’re going to be safe here- we’re so excited to see you. I used to work in the stockroom of a bed bath and beyond- yes their stockroom was ridiculously large considering how much overstock there is in the stores. The bed bath and beyond I worked at only ever had 2-3 customers at a time, unless it was Black Friday. I’m grateful you’ve been covering it- it’s been a head scratcher for sure. Finally, if you’d like to join us at a pub when you’re in NOLA, we’d love to treat you to an Irish car bomb or a beer 🍻

On nursing home story, if u are admitted to a hospice service even if in nursing home those patients are not expected to live more then 6 months the nurses do everything from declaring time of death and notifying family or dr. The dr for hospice will sign death certificate or their PCP. And as a nurse I will tell u that a person can be dead but when they move the person causes heart to restart from the movement is hard.

I'm laughing so hard again today (after originally I heard this last week via iTunes download) at the "bumping it to the top of your inbox" bit at starting around 2:00 in this video. With ya on the elective pain, have a scar the length of my thigh from a motorcycle accident in the Fla Keys when I was young and dumb. Always thought of getting a tattoo of a map of the Fla Keys but area on my leg is still sensitive to this day and the accident was in 1984😬

Also I have an incredibly dumb dog with no (I think) binocular vision. Constantly missing jumps, balls, etc. but he's so happy, that I just don't care. Quite a change from my Corgi who had to be one of the smartest dogs I ever owned. (He passed 2 years ago) but it's all good.

I always liked Madonna until I saw her twice in recent years on the Graham Norton Show, and I thought she was rude, condescending and downright mean. Two audience members who were great fans of Madonna brought in "Barbie-like" dolls they dressed up duplicate outfits worn by Madonna in concerts and/or shows which they made themselves. They were so excited. She, on the other hand, was dismissive and had a look of distain on her face while looking at the dolls. She was also on a show with Ian McKellen, and her attitude was just nasty and she had that "I smell sh*t" expression on her face throughout the entire show. Right before I saw the Pubcast was up on RUclips, I saw a picture of Madonna at the Grammys and, Kathleen, you are right, she looked a lot like that "cat" woman. Terrible and a bit scary.

i worked for many high end companies where tattoos that would be visible and could not be covered up were not allowed. i have tattoos and although i find it slightly discriminating--i get it...if you are in any kind of service industry/position -extra measures are taken so not to offend the customer.
