That’s a good method to see how many people stick with games through the campaign. I used to want to 100% every game, but realized that I will be dead long before I finish my backlog so now content with just the playing the main story and move on and only get 100% for games I really enjoy.
@@Marathon5151 yea same. I'm still fighting the urge to platinum everything, especially if the game itself was mid. I usually look up the trophies and if even one sticks out as a grind, I peace out and stick to the main and move on. I only plat like 5 games a year so they have to be really worth it.
Hey olive, Im just commenting to let you know that your content is awesome! im sure you will get a lot of subscribers soon just keep going and dont loose motivation!
I agree with most that you say, but sometimes it's platinum difficulty or just game difficulty turning people off even if they liked the game. Another thing to keep in mind is if it's been a part of ps plus, as it's exposed to much more gamers (even second accounts) who might just try and drop the game.
Interesting approach, for sure! As a committed trophy hunter, I can say: Trophies can be deceiving. People come back to games, because they are addicted to trophies and completion rates and they push through 2nd and 3rd playthroughs to earn trophies. There are many tools available to make games easier, guides (video and text guides are the most common). But thanks for thinking outside of the box. I don’t read or watch classic reviews: I rely on recommendations from friends.
Thanks for commenting, I see you're a platinum expert. What makes you decide to platinum a game? Do you aim for plat for every game you play? Or only those deemed worthy? And is that based on your personal enjoyment or online reviews?
@@OliveOcelot Me, as a "platinum hunter" would like to give my feedback here: I personally think that what leads me to platinum a game is a mix of good reviews and popularity in general, i'm not a casual player so i always hear about games that seems promising. If a start a game and don't like... It'll depend on how much i dislike it and how long it is to achieve the platinum to decide if I'll finish it or not. But I think that a lot of things could change when I see the trophy guide, I tend to not play games that has buggy or unobtainable trophies even if the game is very/reasonable acclaimed (forager and mad max are good examples), and yeah, I'm placing "achievement above entertainment" and that's why I agree with platinum vault. Games that have multiplayer make me procrastinate on finishing them because of how dependant I'm on grind too. And yeah, I think that's it... If you have any other question, feel free to ask.

Thanks man. It's actually more user friendly to creep friends trophies on ps4 than ps5.
