Raz. those diff casing with the oversize bearing holes look perfect for fitting the bearings with loctite, we fit bearings with that type of tolerance in the aerospace industry all the time , scuff up the bore of the casing and the outside of the bearing with some rough grit emery cloth then fit the bearings with Loctite 648 high strength and trust me they are going nowhere , if you ever need to remove them then heat it up in an oven or with a heat gun and they will pop out with a bit of persuasion
Goddamn that thing is fast. Just saw the video of you trying to hit 170mph and now I come here and see this! It hit the same top speed as an Aventador!
PB with the Quad motor?!?!? incredible! in a few years when everyone is doing 250-260mph Raz will be still using his trusty quad motor setup on 16s w sodium Li ion super burst cells
I know much is going on in your area but thanks for taking the time to let us know your still there… awesome pass brother… and awesome products… perfect is hard to achieve but not impossible 👍👍👍
That bulkhead is gorgeous. Those are gonna look great on my rigs once they're ready. It's pretty common in industrial settings to warm bearings and freeze shafts to get bearings on.
I see you lift the radio in the air for signal. Have you thought of trying the Radiomaster MT12 ERLS reciever for sure has a better range on my quads I can go miles away. Those cars are amazing so fast ttores are the let down at these speeds.
Glad to see you back on the runway! I dont own an rc car or anything like that, but i love to see the engineering, ingenuity, and passion you have for your hobby! Makes for a very enjoyable viewing experience. Good luck in 2024!
AWESOME! I love having your videos on while I am doing RC repairs and you stopped me dead in my tracks when I heard 218 MPH! Now I am even more hyped to see Kevs Speed Sausage get there! Kudos sir. Beautiful work and thats why I will always buy your parts!
Fantastic work Raz. Well done on the 218mph. Those susp arms look really trick. You are absolutely right about the bearing fitment. In a pinch you could fix those bearings in there with a real high grade of Loctite. But, it's good to see you going the extra mile. Also, glad to see you safe and well with all that is happening where you are.
Congrat!! Now, Wanna do 225Mph ? For the BATTERY: instead of overcharging them, Try to make them a small aluminum box around them to force them to not puff like that. It will not only secure them but will make even compression between the anode and cathode which will improve Internal resistance to lower numbers and improve output power. And heat them to 50c before using them. This will also lower the internal resistance and improve power. Overcharging them like you do is creating sort of similar conditon but you are destroying them this way. Discharge completly to 3.0V these battery measure their dimensions and then fabricate a small aluminum box so that they just fit very tight into them. When you will recharge them these will be compressed and the anode and cathode inside will be closer and IR will get lower.
I’ve been extremely patient waiting and you definitely didn’t disappoint Raz! 👌🏻 33min long and didn’t miss a second from the 218mph 👏 congrats buddy, to the diff case and gears at the end.. already looking forward to the next instalment as your only 4mph off a world record 🤞
Guys like you and Kevin Talbot are like extended family to me. I love people who take things to the next level. Meticulous about what they do. To some they are just toys to others machines of the future. I absolutely love this hobby!! It actually saved my life but that's for another time.... love the vids love the cars and definitely love passionate people like you my friend!!!!
Great engineering Raz over just throwing a 100 horsepower in something like that nob does. Way to go buddy!! You are so close to breaking the record, congratulations
Well done man congrats on the crazy fast pass 218 mph! I think it’s a world record if I’m not mistaken good job on it man best of luck of keeping or getting the record !and thanks for the vids !
Awesome pass. Congrats on the 218 mph. I just built my first dual motor limitless. So far 144 mph on 6s. Dual Hobbywing 4268 2600kv and dual mmx8s. Those gears would make some great subscriber gifts
You are a stand up guy you are right and most companies would try and sell a product even though they know it's not 100. And show the videos most creators the ones that you don't think will do good do awesome and vise versa.
Good modification. It is the fastest radio controlled car I see on RUclips. Everything perfect, super stable. Very good car 👍!! 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 Now yes!!! 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 218 mile/h. 👏 I liked the recording. Good job 👍
Put bearing in the freezer as we do with automotive and ATV bearings. Works great. I'm sure all of you know that lol. Just found this. Channel and this guy really cares about things being tight and right.
Okay, I am SO glad I rewatched this video because I am one of those guys that just got these arms. They are STUNNING in person and so light and just so well made! I may have messed one up though trying to screw my V2 balls into those PP control arms. I will be sure to go to the hobby store and get some V1 balls.
Raz is an rc legend…I have £120 car I can’t afford more & I work 6 days a week to pay bills but £120 gets a lot of car in my opinion so it’s ok for me I did some upgrades but these cars are insane….so much dedication..Kevin has a great channel too.
I love rc's but being disabled I have more of an HSP budget than an Aarma or Traxxas budget. That being said I have applied my past skills as an electto-mechanical technician to make things like the differential housing you have with the loose bearing work. I've found that a few dabs of blue locktite will seat bearings that are not a great interference fit sufficiently for at least bashing purposes. That being said I don't know if it would hold up to the speeds and stresses that you put your machines through, but I'd like to know. If you get a few minutes, maybe give it a shot. Love your vids bud! Keep up the amazing groundbreaking work. Edit: That shot of the goat literally had me in tears bro. My dog was thinking something was wrong I was laughing so hard.
Raz, its good to see you pushing the limits again! I have around a dozen cars including several Chinese cars and live vicariously through your vids as I like my cars to much and have never been over 70 as a result LOL!
The way to fix your diff housing bearing issue is to put loctite on the outside of the bearing when installing. That way, it makes it easy to install the bearing, and keeps the outer part of the bearing from spinning in the housing while maintaining easy installation. For removal, you would just have to heat up the housing so that the Loctite fails.
Raz, You really are the best. Loved your vid's since you were running on Florida back roads. So cool to see that you've taken your dream and made it real. Completely agree with your decisions and especially about the Dif' case. If somebody wants a "dofa" (Do For now) there are plenty of options out there! But, if somebody wants something that is going to push the possibilities with a quality solution that will do what it says ... You and PP are the guys to contact. Quality at the edge is the difference between success and failure. Keep up the great work. Question .... Perfect Pass tires? Something that will run multiple times at 200+. At the moment it is 1 run, if you're lucky, above 170. Tire scraping only helps so much. So sad :( Next challenge after you've conquered the mechanical (you've already got the aerodynamics sorted). Looking forward to your future offerings. Keep up the great work :)
Hey dude loved your tech talk. Been eyeing up a perfect pass servo for myself for a while now. Pretty cool to see you made all those gears too. I used to work research and development in an industrial gear shop. Would be so cool to see you make a whole gearbox or transmission, helical gears, as drop in replacements. Keep being meticulous! Good call on the bearing fit!
Hell no, never boring raz i can listen to this all day all night long!! Damn i need those diff cases!!! I need 4 sets actually and i have my debit card in deck!!! I already got yhe 1/5 scale servo amd i have the felomy arms in my cart so when they come in, I'll order!! PP gears, too!!! Oh man, it's on now!!!
The diff housing looks good, you can also put the bearings in thr freezer for a while so they shrink. We do it all the time at work when wanting an interference fit.
Awesome Fart 💨 and Awesome Pass on the Quad👍🏾💪🏾 I ordered the PP arms and I still have the V1 cars. Did not know the v2 had different threads. Hmm 🤔 maybe market for v2 limitless will increase in the speed-run season this spring in US. But great quality check in and update on pivot balls. And the products are innovative. You have a lot of integrity brother. I’m the same.
1st boom!
😂 definitely first!
dammit! gg
Look at how good those tires look after 204 mhp run!
Aaah haa ha haaa!!!!😂😂
Now we wait for le Speed Sausage... XD
no way was that a real fart!! 🤣🤣💩
🤮🤮🤮🤮
Hahah real fart. 💩 lol
Remember, farts don’t have lumps
You shouldn’t have to wipe after a fart 😂😂😂
Kevin when is your video coming
_That is sooo freaking fassssssst! Truly unreal bro!_
sausage it! bigger esc's and lipos, boom!
Agreed
did you completely forget about you beating the world record? i’m glad you finally realized it’s not as easy at it looks

yeap. i use the green retaining compound when i put bearings.
Was totally thinking that. Don't throw out the reject parts. I'm one of those people that would use it for experimental builds.
FANTASTIC BROTHER!!! GREAT PASS WITH THE QUAD
Thanks brother!!
I like the dude in the red shirt 😂 don't get too excited.
218mph well done sir.
Your videos are never boring, Raz, to top it off you're a good chap 👦 👍🏾 👏
