- Dave Grohl is interviewed by Craig Kilborn on the Late Late Show in 2000. This is the first of three segments he participated in (the other two, a game with Jason Mewes and a cover of "Stairway To Heaven" with Taylor Hawkins, are already on RUclips).

@@TheLeatheryman when Taylor Hawkins told the story of how Dave got arrested here in Australia for DUI on a moped, they were riding in the rain and Dave had acquired like an ounce of weed and it was just sitting in the basket on the front of the moped, he said that was back when they smoked a lot. That was also around this time.
Haha Young Dave was fun. I just watched a new interview from Middle Age Dave. They are similar, but Young Dave goes about 1000 mph while Older Dave goes about 999 mph. Keep in mind that, at the time I'm writing this, Older Dave also has a book, a movie, and a new album all going at the same time. He's the reigning King of Rock at this point, so...

Man where did the time go? It doesn't seem like the foo fighters band has been around this long. But I think for some reason, music slows down time. Im on the cusp of gen x and baby boomer so I had many bands I listened to. My 1st album I bought was Allen Parson project but then Led Zep, Van Halen, Fleetwood Mac and then Nirvana, Pearl jam, Foo Fighters. Its been great over the years of different genres and artists.

Oh the good ole days. Back in the 80's I dated a guy whose cousin was Kent Stax, the drummer from the Scream, so we used to go see them play but that was pre-Grohl. I was really into the punk scene back then, slam dancing and all that though as a girl I couldn't handle much of that because you could get really hurt!
