I can’t tell you how much I hate ironing. I think it’s because I’m terrible at it and put in more creases than I take out. This was quite educational so I’m going to follow your advice and try to up my game!

Hi Charlie, What are your thoughts of using the simmering cover of the Aga to iron things? When we got the Aga the sales lady advised us that if you flatten things out when still slightly damp and stack them on top of the simmering side then they will be "ironed" in the morning... I wondered if you have tried this?

Yes I do this, and teach how to in my Aga course, it’s a great way to iron
