There is a long list of the tools needed for tiling a bathroom wall. They generally include tile cutters, tile nippers, spirit level, measuring tape, spacers, grout, adhesive, adhesive spreader, pencil or chalk, grouting squeegee, sponges, measuring bucket, protective clothing and safety goggles, sealant, saw, trim, drill and primer.
Should use sealing strip around the bathtub. With this water never goes behind the bathtub and there is no danger of tile sliding down because the tiles goes over part of the strip.
Nice, I could relate to this. Only thing I was hoping to see was about mixing tile adhesive, but unfortunately they got ready mixed stuff, which I heard wasn't as good
all looks simple when you know how :-) ,, just curious to know if before you apply the tile grout ,,do you or did you take back out the nylon spacers ?? I`ve left them in ,,in the past but on occasion you can see slight shadow traces of them if the grouts thin at that joint ??
very informative video, i really learned a lot from you guys but i feel awkward watching the other guy that has Mel Gibson's voice but wearing a short shorts, could you please put on a longer one next time :)
It all looks a bit messy and hard work , i recently renovated my bathroom with zelletex panels - i covered over the existing surfaces and got about two more cups of tea in.
good things but what about the window why has he not shown to make sure he have a good cut going up to the window you do the main wall where the bath is then you tile the window wall and find you have a rubbish cut going up to the window
who the hell batterns walls out haha thats what those crappy tiling courses for £300 out of the back of a magazine teach you and who makes measuring sticks all you need to do is walk the tile across the wall allowing for the spacers
Thats one tidy and neat home improvement store. Ive never seen one that clean before, ha.
