Does anyone know what Shohei was asked in Japanese?

My translation is a little rough but it was something like “Do you see a future in baseball or at this point in your career do you feel like a backup plan might be a good idea?”

      1. After careful consideration off-season, are you glad with your decision with the dodgers? Results wise it's the longest season. This is not about me but about the team and I'm extremely grateful for my teammates and staff 2. What were the biggest obstacles over the coarse of the season? Nothing that stands out but overall injuries, players did a great job covering for each other. We had a lot of comeback wins, we did great not giving up and obviously bullpen did great in order to win. 3. (Family related question) How great-ful are you for your family? Wife is obviously not used to it, I'm extremely thankful (Long answer that.I summed up) 4. Was this a long season (dump question I know... But probably an insider question given we don't see all the media and prep that goes on behind the scenes over the course of the season. The Japanese fan base that deeply follow Ohtani can infer exactly what weight this question and answer has) It was long, yes (awkward laugh) 5., (Question about his injuries and how he overcame it): Wanted to prepare myself to play (Injury regarding his shoulder). I'm grateful that they still wanted me to play, maybe that had to do with the fact that I tried hard and endured throughout the year. The last answer was probably the only that mattered. There's so much analytics that go behind the scenes, Dave leaked that Shohei was only swinging the bat at 105mph but still way better than most (this shouldn't have been leaked imo, but maybe Yankees already knew and measured bat speed) and a 70% Shohei is better most. My thoughts: I think Shohei should have been sat out after the 3rd game, but maybe was there for morale reasons and the "If factor". Best case was that Shohei got walked 2-3 more times. The first at bat back, they were still scared and walked him, but his next at bat betrayed him and was clearly not himself.

Shohei did NOTHING in Game5 as well as in Game4, whereas Freddie did a huge job with no doubt about his MVP.

I agree, game 4 and 5 he clearly did not look like the same Shohei. Almost like he was injured or something
