I will answer one question you ask early in the song...."What is a Walden?" A Walden is a Wooded Valley...or in another case, "Walden, or, Life in the Woods" by Henry David Thoreau, 1854. Tuomas sometimes uses themes that other great writers....Thoreau being one of them! If you pull up the Nightwish song titled, " Song of Myself" from the Sacked Concert in 2013....the song ends but there is actually more of the song that Tuomas, his wife and others read the rest of the poem! It's exceptional! You could react to the song with extended version...and I think you would get a deeper insight into Tuomas. He is not only an extremely talented composer, musician...but he's not afraid to put his emotions down on paper for the audience to get a glimpse into Tuomas' heart! He writes and composes with his love for the audience! How else can you explain how he continually writes such amazing music??

The absolute joy on your face is beautiful to see. To me Nightwish are akin to Kate Bush in that they build on imagination and emotion in such a way as to move you, no matter the message.
