Hey hey… a great reaction as usual…. Well… I have been in a nightwish concert in masters of rock but not this specific concert… but the energy was the same… high energy all the way… 2 hours concert that went too fast and energetic… As for news about Nightwish… they are writing their new album (I guess they said they are mixing now and the recordings are finished) and Floor should give birth any day now (her sister Irene told that to a friend of mine last week) They also said that they will not tour their next album so no concerts are expected during 2024😢 Some rumours are talking about concerts in 2025-2026 celebrating 30 of nightwish
I’ve worked it out and im sure she has, just there hasn’t been any news about her, not even in her home country, the Netherlands where I live. I was to see her life in Paleis Soestdijk, during the summer, Beginning July, but the show was cancelled at the last moment due to that she was overworked and exhausted. I understood as she was already heavy with child then and was amazed that she had continued for so long into her pregnancy. (about >6 months)
Theres a bit of a black out period with the band right now. Its been nearly 2 mos. Since any information from them. They had been working on the next album. I feel that Floor probably has had the baby by now, but nothing has been heard from Floor for over 3 months. But Floor is very private where her children are concerned. She will release info when she"s ready.
Kai posted this on Facebook 5 days ago. "We have finished all band instruments and next is London with symphony orchestra and choirs. Looking forward to that." The vocals are still not done yet. They said the new album should be out next year but they wouldn't be touring for it right away. I heard a third Auri album will be next so they'll probably tour after that album is finished, maybe in 2025.
Floor is pregnant, due any time now, I would think. The rest of the crew has been working on their new album which will be out sometime in 2024, Gosh! I have missed you reacting to Nightwish.

I did a cover of this song with my high school students a few years ago. Nowhere near as awesome as this, those kids are not musicians, they just sang in the choir or played their instruments the best way they could but hey... 120+ teenagers working together for this song is something!

That introduction from Floor is so bad-ass. I think that's probably why I prefer this slightly over the Wacken version (which is also great). That killer intro goes right into that epic sound that you were describing, and then it's non-stop energy, through the roof! And yes, it's great seeing these guys (and gal) all have so much fun. That kind of positive energy is definitely not lost on the crowd. Just a fantastic closer!
I love seeing Tuomas look out into the crowd and smile knowing everyone is enjoying his creation. I haven't seen one live show where they don't genuinely look like they are having fun. ❤

God but I love this band so much, they generate feelings in me that no other band does, even bands I've loved for 40 years or more like Motorhead, Iron Maiden, Status Quo, Judas Priest, Saxon - I love those bands and many more, but they don't do this to me 🤘

Finally!!! You're back to Nightwish!!! It is always so much fun seeing you loving this band and your Floor crush :D We went to one of their last concerts this year (Gelsenkirchen Germany) and Floor was about 6 months pregnant. She had some health issues at the last concert in Finland. Since then she has been taking time of her own, she did post a message about that on her FB page. Glad to see you back with Nightwish. This is still on the set list though not last any more. I'm really pleased you showed so much love to Marco - he's often overlooked in this song where his voice is superb. You picked my favourite performance too! They finished to tour this year, Floor off to have her second baby and the others to take a well-deserved break. Their tour schedules are pretty gruelling. How many bands would do that Imaginaerum tour that this came from, lasting 18 months over 104 shows? They are not going to tour the new album when it is released next year (unless they change their minds).
I was there in that crowd too. Hi from Czech Republic (no a long ago renamed to Czechia) :) That area for crowd in Vizovice usually takes something around 30 000 people, So not the hugest crowd, but it's cool anyway. I was there on a Masters Of Rock festival like 8 times already. Anyway, Nightwish is currently recording a new album which should come up in 2024. I don't haven't heard much about Floor but I believe she's fine :)

I met Floor by accident this past summer due to a plane delay. We chatted for quite a while without any real introduction. We started talking music because she said she had been in town for a concert . We introduced ourselves before I fully connected the dots. She is very likeable as a human being.
I am sure I blushed. She seemed surprised that I knew who she was. After telling me a family history in relation to Rammstein's Radio, a got a hug, and her companion & and she headed back to the airport. The lyrics now make total sense and I learned some history. It was a good day at the museum for me.
I was at one of their last shows this summer here in Greece, they hadn't been here for 15 years since 2008 with Anette (i was there too hehe), and i loved every minute of the show with Floor almost 8 months pregnant full of energy but as to be expected not in her best vocal days. I realy missed Marko's voice in some of the songs, Last Ride of the Day was one of them. Sometimes Floor and other times Troi sang his parts and i was like noooo i want Marko...
If one goes without NW some days, its like new suprsise again when you get back. I have listened NW since the beginning and loving the ride all the way. And waiting for the new music.
