- Another really great episode as everything in the plot is starting to come to light but also the plot thickens even more it is really hard to tell if I am finding out anything in the long run but I am loving it. It was so cool to see the flashbacks with Percy's some to really get some perspective into his childhood and getting to meet Hades and find out more about the thief was amazing. I can't wait for next episode.

Percy: "Only suckers wait in line" Percy they are DEAD omg 😭
"Elevator right in the middle of the room. Oooh, he's got money"
This cracked me up because, in addition to being the King of the Underworld, Hades is actually also the god of riches. So yes, he *does* have money 😭😭
Third option regarding the books: you read the first book after season 1, the second book after season 2, and so on. That way you get both the fun surprise element of the show and the joy of reading the books!!
Let it be known that i AM manifesting a full 5 season arc 🫡🫡
Yes I’ll definitely have to get to all the books
I'm really pleased that they want to realise Hades in this way and establish the real Hades in pop culture after it has been completely misinterpreted by Disney's Hercules, Clash of the Titans or God of War
Hades is the oldest male god and therefore the wisest after Hestia
He has simply drawn the "worst" lot and still only wants to live his divine life
War is the worst thing for him because it simply means more work and takes up time that he can't spend with his wife Persephone, who can only visit him for part of the year anyway due to the anger of her mother Demeter and her father Zeus
Hades is the god with whom I personally can identify the most, similar to the ancient Greeks, who honoured death so much that it is almost unimaginable for us today
im really enjoying all the changes from the books, also i love this hades actor
Kronos was a titan and he is the father of the Gods. He ate his children bc it was told that he would be overthrown by one of his children. His wife Rhea hid Zeus when he was born and when he grew up he overthrown his father and saved his siblings. He chopped him up in pieces and is imprisoned in Tartarus, which is the deepest part of the Underworld and a prison.
Thanks for all that good info 😊
@@ethanclarkreactsAres talked about it a bit in ep 5 as well!
Kronos is a Titan! Kronos' whole generation is Titans. He was the Lord during the Age of Titans, and when Zeus freed his siblings from his stomach and overthrew him the Age of Gods began. If Kronos were to overthrow the gods, there would be a new Age of Titans
Kronos is a Titan. Titans are the parents of the gods. Kronos was the father of Zeus and Poseidon and Hades. Ares and Athena are Zeus' children.
Hades is NOT what I expected but omg he is growing on me 😝
Hades made a joke with the pomegranate juice comment, because one taste of the underworld pomegranates, you'll be trapped there forever, unable to return to the mortal world. And they're highly tempting. Blood red and with such a powerful aroma they just invite you to pluck one for yourself. It's one of the reasons Persephone ended up Hades' wife. She ate a few seeds of an underworld pomegranate.
So Hades was jokingly offering to trap them forever
*Also, Season 2 was confirmed!!!*
As I understand it, Chronos (Χρόνος) is the Greek god of time, while Kronos (Κρόνος) is the king of the Titans. However, in the PJO universe, sometimes belief and worship affects the gods. For example, when Apollo shows up, he explains how Helios (the sun) and Selene (the moon) used to be around until they weren't because people started associating Apollo and Artemis with the sun and moon more while not really thinking about Helios or Selene. I think this is what happened with Chronos as well, since he never shows up, while Kronos is shown to have time-related abilities.
Thanks for all that good info 😊
So Kronos is the King of the Titans, Titan of Time, and father of Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Hera, Hestia, and Demeter
What a fun reaction. Love your humor and I'm very happy you're enjoying it. Next episode will be even better, I'm sure. Can't wait!
the titans came first and then the gods as we know (zeus poesidan and hades defeated kronos and zeus took his place)
Hey long time no see but so far i'm loving it like loving it and a friend and my husband who have read the books also love it way more than they thought they would.
Yay, glad you liked it! It's so cool getting to watch people experience this story for the first time. When I read it, it had been out for almost a decade already so seeing the fandom's reaction to this story as if it's for the first time is a new experience, and it's so much fun
It's so good!
Hm, why not split the difference and read each book after the season finishes? Like, finish season one, read book one, then wait til after season 2 to read the second one. That way you can experience both without spoiling!
It’s a very good idea. Get all that good extra stuff that the show didn’t have time to cover as well
These episodes are speeding by too fast!! That seems an ironic thing to say when they are being released one-a-week after the first two, but after next week we'll have to wait a whole year (probably) for new episodes. 😭😭 I appreciate your reaction videos so much. You are doing well. Keep up the good work!
My thoughts exactly, I want so much more 😂
I read the books for the first time in my twenties and have read basically all the books in the Percy Jackson universe, and love them! I think you would really enjoy reading the books (another suggestion for book club 🙂), but maybe you could wait to read each one until after the corresponding season comes out, like others have suggested. Although, the other series are very good too (Heroes of Olympus, Magnus Chase, Trials of Apollo) and also get progressively more diverse and LGBTQ+ friendly, which is great 😊
Oh cool thanks for letting me know about them. Yeah I think I’ll have to definitely give them a read at some point 😊
I love your reaction Percy Jackson.
So glad you are enjoying
I really liked the look of the underworld. And we met POSIDON💙
The underworld looked so amazing
@@ethanclarkreacts It really did
