Greetings from Sydney. I love visiting Singapore and am hugely enjoying your videos. The kids are adorable and so adventurous with food. I love that about them.
I've been diving into your videos recently, and I'm loving it! 😍 Your take on how you travel with your kids with ease is so relatable and down-to-earth. I feel like we're kindred spirits! Just wanted to say a quick thanks for being such an inspiring presence online helping families to see what's possible. There are few people I love checking out day after day, but you guys are one of them. 🌈 How do you keep your content so fresh and engaging?
Love that you have kids and a toddler to navigate your way around Singapore. We have a family trip to Singapore planned for October. Thanks for sharing your experiences
There are 2 other popular satay outdoor dining that is Laguna hawker centre nearer to changi airport and satay by the bay near GBTB. But LPS is more centralized to go as the most touristy one
I enjoy watching your videos. Great family👍 Have you been to East Coast Lagoon Food Centre ? Go in the late afternoon/ evening. Nice ambience, stalls near the beach/ sea.
I have been to Singapore twice. Do go to Gardens by the bay, Universal Studios, Mc Richie trekking, Arts and Science museum,, cruiseship. Go to East Coast Road for the beach and for the food. I went with my family and friends. It was awesome.
Nice ! Satay and cheese cake yummy! Next time when you are in singapore I recommend the Chomp chomp Food centre(dinner). Recommend to try Hokkien Mee, BBQ chicken wings, BBQ Sting ray, Gong gong or La La(clam type seafood). Dip them with lime chilli sauce woooo so good. Look forward to watch your next video. Cheers and Happy travel ! 😊🫶👍👍👍
in Asia, at the top end of the index is the most expensive Asian city of Singapore, which was also the world's joint most expensive city in 2022, along with New York.
It was raining when I visited Lau Pa Sat this past February. No outdoor seating due to rain. Luckily, though there were crowds, it wasn’t too bad. The satay vendors would come up to you, hand you a menu and a buzzer. That system worked as long as they saw you. I tried to find my guy. Eventually, he saw me. Delicious food. Even had White Rabbit ice cream.
On the topic of cheesecake I recommend "queic by Olivia" their by far one of the best. Is from a Spanish restaurant call "Olivia". It is so good that they decide to open a desert shop just for the cheesecake itself. Mmmmm yummy ! If you are still here in singapore...😁😋
i would recommend the soy sauce chicken ,xiaolongbao , claypot rice at chinatown complex food center followed by the ice milk tea at the nanyang old coffee :)
3:55 Reason that "it was not socially acceptable for women to consume alcohol" is because Singapore's immigrants came from traditional places. Muslims aren't allowed to consume alcohol regardless of male or female and in China drinking was considered a vice.
@@BagsPackedFamily Feb watched the TV Series "Alaska Daily", i wonder how many journalists still keen on serious investigation, and to expose many unknowns unkowns.
The satay at Lau Pa Sat is Malay style. There is also Chinese style satay which is not as sweet as the Malay style. The more traditional style Chinese satay comes with a dollop of pineapple puree in the peanut sauce which is meant to be mixed in. The are many such stalls in Chinatown at level 2 of Chinatown Complex Food Centre which is very local, and many tourists seem to bypass and head to Maxwell for the chicken rice. FYI, Maxwell is across the street and facing the front of Buddha Tooth Relic Temple while Chinatown Complex is right at the back of the temple right where many senior guys play Chinese chess.
So envious of you guys having currency advantage over us locals. $30 SGD is definitely not something the average median-income Singaporean can afford for 1 meal every day.
2 Singapore Dish You won't find anywhere else... Chill Crab... and Deen Biasa Tulang(Bone) .. Along Jalan Sultan... Mutton bone marrow cooked in spiced tomato stew... Unleash your inner cavemen when eating Tulang and Chilli Crab..
Yummy when we were in Singapore we have 100 Mutton 100Beef 100 Prawn 100 Chicken Wing for me and my 😘😘😆🥰😂🤣😂😂crew from my Boat crewa 48 people and my family 46 all happy
Says the satay expert. And yet it is packed all the time. If it was that bad, why is it always so crowded? And it isn’t only tourists that eat there, locals do too. Just because it is considered a more touristy place to eat doesn’t automatically mean it does not have quality food.
Satay at Lau Pa Sat is a better choice. Don't go Chinatown. Find the Malay vendors there, they taste nicer. As Satay originated from Indonesia, also widely prepared by malays in Singapore and Malaysia. Not the Chinese. The ones sold by them not authentic. Copycat.
You know it's a rip off right? Dry tissue is 3 for $1. Some touristy place/after inflation is 2 for $1. And the cheap wet tissue is only 50cents to a dollar in value$ shop.
why u think the auntie does it at those touristy places? lol she prolly makes more money then cleaning tables at a hawker when u think about it... should u be angry about it tho? she just trying to make a living... 17 dollars for a shirley temple was the bigger rip-off imho.. betcha that same bar buys sprite in bulk from value$ also...
The satay at Lau Pa Sat is one of the nicest dishes we've ever had, anywhere.
Forest is so cute even sleeping... Always watching your vlog.

If it’s possible visit haji lane at night! the atmosphere is really beautiful and there’s a variety of options from food, thrift stores and cafes 🥰
Forest adapts well anywhere.. guy could even sleep under a tree on a hot weather 😅

I just cane back from morroco and catched up with all ur vids
Sgd28 for the satay & prawns are pretty reasonable.
Lau Pa Sat satay street is a popular place for satay.
Satay at East Coast Park are up till now still my favourite giv it a try
nice ..yummy

That sounds delicious!
Gluttons bay at esplanade is a good place for satay too.
Not sure if this is in your list but do consider craypot frog meat. Also, Chomp Chomp, East Coast Lagoon Food Village for more satays etc.
There is a pretty decent cafe nearby at the start of the video. ASK Coffee Roastery at 32 Seah St. Worth trying out!
Thanks for the yummy suggestion!
Tiger beer and draft is Singapore's gold medallion winning beers.
3:55 Reason that "it was not socially acceptable for women to consume alcohol" is because Singapore's immigrants came from traditional places. Muslims aren't allowed to consume alcohol regardless of male or female and in China drinking was considered a vice.
Thanks for the added info!
Please... some females from China probably drink better and females from Taiwan surely drink better.
I think in 1910, most if not all the women who drink at Raffles, would be white women.
When are you coming to indonesia
We'll be heading to Java in a few week!
Took Alaska Airlines once, they served Seattle's Best Coffee. 🤭 Know about Fairbank from the book "Into the Wild"
That's so cool! Kelly and I both love that book. We'll be filming some Alaska content this summer! :-)
@@BagsPackedFamily Feb watched the TV Series "Alaska Daily", i wonder how many journalists still keen on serious investigation, and to expose many unknowns unkowns.
WOW Ultimate Satay... ALAKSA United.. FOREST looks like BEN HUR...
Ben Hur the man who meets Jesus 😂😂😂
Totally, Ben Hur!
@@GHOSTCOONZ WOW
@@BagsPackedFamily MAJESTIC Looks..
If you have the opportunity, you should visit the Tiger Brewery in Singapore.
Woww ..😄👍🔥
Does the satay stalls take credit card.
Enjoy ur journey ❤️ from 🇮🇩 Indonesia
We'll be back in Indonesia filming soon!
Nice👍🏿... Welcome back🙏.. we'll be waiting...❤️❤️
If you're in Malaysia, you may try Sate Kajang Haji Samuri.
Hi there you should try the Singapore Sling and cocktails at WINE UNIVERSE.
Thanks for the tip!
👍👍
FOREST YOU LOOK SO ADORABLE.🤷🤷🤷
Sleeping Beauty... WOW...
I’m surprised the satay set didn’t include a ketupat, a rice cake.
That's a good point.
It gonna take a hella workout to burn those calories off 😂

Hi tourist do kot go to satay by the bay, tourist trap. Only eat at LPS satay street
Satay chicken or satay lamb?
Delicious
The tissues are so expensive

I love your videos but seems like the kids needed some rest and everyone needed a haircut
So true!
Enjoy the Singapore Sling, best Satay @ Lau Pasat. Tissue only $2 not $4. Enjoy in Singapore with your lovely family.
FYI Lau pa sat is less busy weekends due to no office workers
That makes sense 👍
There is a vegetarian food court at the basement of the Buddha tooth relic temple. Perhaps you guys can check it out one day 😊
Thank you for the suggestion!
Satay by the bay is a tourist trap. Satays aren't that expensive in other outlets.
Gotta love a tourist trap!! One of the main reasons I travel to get caught up in them - always a laugh😂
Yummy when we were in Singapore we have 100 Mutton 100Beef 100 Prawn 100 Chicken Wing for me and my 😘😘😆🥰😂🤣😂😂crew from my Boat crewa 48 people and my family 46 all happy

Wow, you brought the whole flotilla.
Satay at Lau Pat Sat is catered purely for tourists with almost no care for quality.
Says the satay expert. And yet it is packed all the time. If it was that bad, why is it always so crowded? And it isn’t only tourists that eat there, locals do too.
Just because it is considered a more touristy place to eat doesn’t automatically mean it does not have quality food.
looks delicious, I think the satay that comes from the country of origin is better
Waaaa... Tissue aunty robbing tourists ,🤦🤦🤦🤦
:-)
They “rob” locals too.
Anyway willing buyer willing seller.
You are paying for the convenience I guess.
Satay malaysia🇲🇾😋👍👍

Everyone knows the real original Singapore sling was invented in ipoh by a malaysiN
Pathetic malaysian claiming as usual! ha ha🙄
❤🇮🇳❤️👍
Welcome to Singapore, Sally ❤
