Totally get the reaction, it's very radio friendly, as another commenter wrote. But--within the context of the album, it fits. Give Panic Attack a listen. It's more of what you wanted from Priest, I think.

I for one appreciate your honesty in your reactions, but I'm going to partially disagree with your opinion. I personally really liked this song. I agree that its not very heavy, but its got a great hook. It's very radio friendly in my opinion, which I suspect is what they wanted. I also found the religious references in the lyrics interesting as well.
I tend to compare all rock and metal bands with LOVEBITES in terms of musicianship (not vocals). This song was pretty laid back musically ... about 60% the average LOVEBITES song.

I BELIEVE THEIR HEARTS HAVE BEEN SOFTENED A BIT BY SU, MOA AND YUI.

I agree with You Joel. Rob still has a great voice, but the track is dull.

Used to be a huge JP fan back in the 80’s. This isn’t bad but kind of meh. Not even sure I’d call it JP without most of the real band.

I enjoy a good ballad from time to time, but maybe it's the recent years of constant listening to Band Maid/Lovebites (not unlike yourself), but I just need even a ballad to have some dynamic shifts, tempo changes, etc. This was ...musically monotone. The equivalent of Beige. Maybe in context of a full album listen the dynamics of the songs around it will make this less an issue, but as a single, it's a big whiff, IMO.
Also, the fact you have not been a fan of even songs I liked (such as some recent Warning stuff) makes me respect your channel more, because we don{t need one more channel of yokels headbobbing and "liking" everything just to get clocks from the rabid fanbois.
