Lyrics:
The clamour and the clatter of incensed keys
Can bring a nation to its knees
On the wings of a lethal icon
Bird of prey
It’s a sign of the times when bedlam rules
When the masses condone pompous fools
And the scales of justice
Tip in disarray
Panic Attack Panic Attack
Matters of fact fall on deaf ears
While the bitter mobs ramp up their fears
Go creeping round those corridors of power
As the dead heads gladly suffer sins
While the euthanising then begins
The clock is ticking down to doomsday hour
Panic Attack Panic Attack
Alien nations gleam
Cybertronic schemes
Fibre optic mass hypnotic
Wild neurotic memes
Cynicism greed what you’re fed
Disconnecting from the world wide web
It don’t matter about your choice
Cause all you’ve got is an empty voice
And there’s no way left to tell what’s right from wrong
There’s still time left to do what’s right
Eliminate those parasites
And force your mind amidst the angry throng
Panic Attack Panic Attack
Disconnect the system
Panic Attack Panic Attack
Euthanise the brain
Panic Attack Panic Attack
Blind synthetic wisdom
Panic Attack Panic Attack
Digitally criminally insane
Panic Attack Panic Attack

No matter how old he gets, Halford will always be the Metal God.
Agree with you. He is a real Metal Hero..He has no blood but metal in his body...
I'd say he'd the Metal King. Because Iommi is the Metal God 😉🤘🏾
Yes
Im sorry to tell you, but there is someone called Bruce Dickinson who is already metal King
@@Aenigmakilhe doesn’t even consider sabbath to be metal
Who would have thought that Priest would release one of their best songs ever in 2024.
Very very fresh and superb song, but the video.....only cuts from concerts. Honestly I hated this on Firepower (otherwise magnificent album) and hate it right now on Invincible Shield
50 years in and the Priest is back !
It’s in line to become one of their top shelf album too !!
Wooowwwww feels like I'm back in the 80s....superb!!!!!
One of their best albums.
The importance of Scott Travis to this band since 1990 cannot be overstated. He is a top notch drummer.
I guess Scott is missing some kind of new Painkiller stomper haha
@@user-sf9lj6dy6w Simon Phillips is great. Les Binks is great. Dave Holland was adequate. He was there. He was a drummer.
At least Holland could keep time live, unlike Travis@@roymauler

@user-sf9lj6dy6w who was that? Do tell?
This guitar tone is absolutely KILLER. What a pleasant music for my ears.
Yes! Fuck. The guitar tones bands have been going for the last 10-15 years or so had all but killed my interest in any new metal. This is like a breath of fresh fuckin air.
Couldn't agree more!
Rob Halford and Judas Priest can be 80 years old and will still sound EPIC and awesome!
Thank you, Priest, for still sounding great for more than 40 years. 😊
Try over 50years plus
50 years
It's been 50 years since Rocka Rolla. That's already legendary status
@@u.s.m.c.fewproudthemarines2987 my bad, I loved Priest since British Steel, which is my favorite Judas Priest album.

That intro was a refreshing blast from the past.
Rob Halford is 72 years old and he still rocking
Definitely! Also, Glenn Tipton is 76 and still shredding!
72 years young🎉
@@davidestes9916 Glenn has Parkinson's I think, and does as much as he can. Still awesome though.
72 nd like is mine !
Nowadays, the older dudes rock harder than the younger ones.
This is almost Painkiller level material here (with a little Turbo sounding touch during the intro). This late in their career, coming up with this is no small feat really.
Impressive stuff.
Which is perfect for me. I love classic priest, but Turbo, Ram it Down, and Painkiller are my favorite Priest albums.
Agreed
it should be more variation in there
it´s a mix of new and known old
Best for people who don´t know "painkiller" already.
That's basically what I said.
I know right!? I'm honestly crying I'm so happy
Thank You Rob for being here my whole metal life! 🤟🏼 You are my Painkiller! 🤟🏼🤗👊🏼
Hell yea!🤘
It's amazing to me how his voice never changes. If they had this song on Painkiller it wouldn't sound out of place, unreal how Rob can still sing like he does decade after decade, true legend.
thats a result of permanent training.at the end its all muscelwork

They have no right being this good this late on in their career. You were meant to be sounding rehashed and tired... twenty years ago!
Absolutely incredible
Probably because they're not releasing albums very often anymore, but still they take their time to cook some good ones 🔥🔥
Metal Gods have the God given right to be this good.
I'll deal with it.
You can thank Mr Ritchie Faulkner for that,
If Scott hadn’t joined they would have done just that. He cranked them to 11. Then Ritchie was yet another shot in the arm when he joined.
This song is completely insane.
Loved that 80s sound intro. Great Song. Hail to Judas Priest, Metal Gods!!
This and Never The Heroes are amazing renditions of the Mighty 80's

Robs voice is timeless.
I did not expect to one day hear Rob Halford scream the word "memes."
This is 1000% a Glenn Tipton song from start to finish. He may not have played much (or any of it) in the studio, but he wrote these riffs. He sat in that studio, wrote and arranged this classic piece. I'm blown away...
Richie probably wrote this riff, or at least spritzed it up.

I agree, this has Glen written all over it.
Yeah. This is classic Priest.

Damn, this is best Priest song I've heard in a while.
It has that late 80's era feel, i love it. This song is a kick in the balls right from the opening riff.
Ouch, deez nuts!!!!!!
I can agree, but.... I think it's more like 80's feel with a little bit of modern hard power... I love the rough sound ❤
Absolutely. Such a great song. Always hyped me up for the day :) Panic attack Panic attack , let's go

Glenn Tipton is back! YES JUDAS PRIEST for ever!!!
Is that Tipton there? Wow I didn't know.
He always played a few simple parts over the last years. He's probably more involved in the songwriting process. Faulkners solo sounds a lot like Tipton.
I'm not sure how much he's involved but he is PRIEST!!!

No way... Rob and the boys made a new record?! Holy... this sounds amazing!
Could be released in 2021 or 2022, but then covid took our cities by storm
Trial By Fire is excellent too!!
WHAT a song and I admit, it is SO moving to see Glenn stand up there with the band, such a warrior.
Still rockin' that Hamer too!!!
Yeah even him just playing rhythm guitar and backing Richie with the occasional solo he can still play is worth it. He probably won't be the touring guitarist but if they do what they did last tour he will come out and play three to five songs on the shows that he does attend. He's a badass. His solo albums are completely ultimate priest sound if you've never picked them up Baptism of Fire is a good one to start with.
@@GaryBowen00
Somehow I didn't know Glenn had any solo albums, and I usually follow musicians as they move throughout their careers like a stalker. 😄
I've discovered so many great bands by following members leaving and forming new groups.
@@Metallian81 I completely understand us I do the same thing with my favorite bands. Steve Harris from Iron Maiden has a band called British Lion that's really good and Adrian Smith also has several different solo projects but they always get together to do Maiden. Of course you have from Rob Halford some very awesome Halford albums and his Fight project was really good as well. KK has stuff and now he has KK's Priest with Ripper which is pretty good stuff.
This album by Glenn is volcanic at times when it comes to the music. Glenn's singing is average but it works for the material after you listen a couple of times. He also had a badass band with Cozy Powell and John Entwistle from The Who. Here's a link to what is mostly an instrumental but You could have put this on any priest album and nobody would have even known KK wasn't there. It's definitely worth listening to if you can get over Glenn's singing. I don't have a problem with it but some people do complain about it.
Glad I helped you find something new man. That's what good people in music do or at least what I believe they should do.

More than 50 years and still killing it! This is why Rob Halford is THEE Metal God. The one and only. 🤘
It's impressive. Ozzy is a couple years older but now had to really retire.
@@metalmike570 only thing I can say is there is a big difference in energy. Ozzy destroyed himself with substance abuse and took it to a whole different level.
@@M45T3R_B8ER And Ozzy had an accident on an ATV in 2002. That's the problem with his neckand back, and it became too much. I saw him just before the Pandemic it was a great show of course.
I guess Halford did take care of himself better and didn't get in accidents. Halford had a few years off from Judas Priest remember Ripper Owens was in the band for a while.
@@metalmike570 right. However, Ozzy's mobility and overall function has been declining for years prior to the accident. He's been walking like a crippled old man for a long time. The accident just made it all worse. Never mind the fact he's in his 70s now. Nonetheless, Ozzy stopped being a metal god when he started producing this pop-like solo stuff.
