I just saw Saxon at The Temple Live in Wichita Kansas May 25, 2024 with Uriah Heep. It too was a superb concert. Great tour. Saxon played an excellent play list, I loved it all.
The best song on a fantastic album, the lyrics are clever and dramatic and Biff sounds better than ever. Master stroke having Brian Tatler in the band and Andy Sneap's magic metal touch on the production.... superb

Every song on this album is great. You have single handedly resurrected hard rock with this album imo. Hopefully next time you all can make out west a bit further toward the coast.
Heard a track from this album on Radio Caroline and was completely blown away. I had'nt bought a vinyl album for 30 years but after hearing Hell, Fire and Damnation I ordered it on coloured vinyl straight away without even owning a record player (got one now). I've not seen Saxon live for a very long time (1990 Mildenhall Rock & Blues festival) but I'll be looking to put that right soon. Saxon have produced something really special here and I raise my glass to them.
