THIS was LONG overdue!!! I can't lie... I shed a tear watching this! The Mighty Priest... have been a part of my life since I was a nipper... Downing and Tipton are guitar gods! They have and always will be one of THE BEST Heavy Metal Bands in the world! Rob is a LEGEND and a genuine human being... as are they ALL!! God bless em! LONG LIVE THE MIGHTY PRIEST! 🤘🤘
I couldn't possibly care any less about the rock and roll Hall of Fame. I don't need some building or whatever group of people to tell me something I already know: Judas Priest is the greatest band of all time!
I was 13, lived in a grey communist Czechoslovakia, when I heard Judas Priest first time. Many thanks for these amazing decades of metal. It is worth to live in the world where you can hear the Priest.
British steel, Screaming for vengeance, Defenders of the faith .. I've been listening to Judas Priest since I was kid and I still do ! After so many years they still rock and keep our music alive 🤘
What an emotional moment. A grand recognition of this legendary band. I love especially Rob coming out brave and presenting as what he is: a brilliant gifted human being.
“All inclusive”. ❤ And it shows. I took one look/listen at this band and just felt right at home. Not a single red flag in neither lyrics nor album art-and that is one giant breath of fresh air. They are a safe space for me personally. I’m so grateful for them and so happy that they’re still going strong. 🙏 🥹 Long live and God bless!
Ken, the band was never the same without you, and I've been going to Priest concerts since Hell Bent for Leather/Killing Machine tour here in the States...Cheers
I had no idea that was Glen. Parkinson’s has done a lot of damage, but I’m so glad he was able to make it on stage and play with them for this event. He is an amazing guitarist. The only guy missing is of course Dave Holland. Love these guys. Thank you so very much for what you have given the heavy metal world. Rob, thanks for not hiding in the shadows. The music speaks for itself, regardless of anything else. First saw them on the Defenders tour in St Paul, Minnesota in 1984. Main floor, row 9. Amazing experience for a high school kid! Couldn’t hear for 3 days!
I see you in Italy in the 1988 at Florence, Ram It Down Tour. A group of fans, we left Bologna by car with the tour poster stuck on the back window. Great! The best metal band in the world!
One of my favorite bands for many many year, saw them live a few times...they are on my top 3, aligned with Maiden and Dream Theater!!! What i still cannot understand, is why they seem to deny the 'Ripper' albuns and basically his image from the band!!! Priest is Priest no matter what, but i cannot understand why they do it..: Hope the future brings bigger recognition!!! All hail!!! Cheers from Portugal!!!
they are the REAL article....and before 'Priest' NO ONE knew what a metal-god was. Now, we throw around that tag like its been around for a million yrs. Well, if there was a Mt Rushmore of Metal Gods, you would see carved into the rock, the faces of Lemmy Kilmister, Ozzie Osbourne & Tommy Iommi, Ronnie Dio and Rob Halford. To say that Halford's voice is freakish and otherwordly, might just be the understatement of understatements. The best way to describe him and his guys, is to call them game-changers. They took metal and just ramped everything up, production-wise, commercially, traditionally. Lemmy and his guys remained traditional to the end. Rob and his boys, thumbed their nose at tradition and reveled in the cheesiness of a leather look and selling out football stadiums. They deserve respect.
I can't understand why K.K. left Judas Priest at first place and why there isn't a reunion now. Anyway I am glad to see the classic line up together including Les Binks of course!
Add Freddie Mercury to the list. Also Atheists are now accepted as well with people like Roger Waters, Eddie Vedder, Geddy Lee, Roger Taylor of Queen, Kurt Cobain, Dave Grohl and many others who don’t believe in God or Satan and came out as Atheist and didn’t hurt their fanbase. It opened up the door for Britney Spears to come out as an Atheist.
I remember when my friend told me Rob Halford was gay. My immediate reaction was: "No way!" Now im a better man for excepting everyone. We ain't gonna kick him out of the band!
Whenever I hear Rob speak, I can’t help but wonder if he actually LIKES metal. It’s so hard to tell with him. He’s always so ambiguous and cryptic when it comes to metal. He has such a “take it or leave it” attitude about it.
I've wondered the same thing. Soft spoken, sensitive, intelligent, humble. But in his younger years, say from '77 to '82 he became a metal savage on stage. No way to fake that. His blood runs hard metal. By comparison ours runs aluminum.
Judas Priest has been around for over 50 years, this should have happened at least 20 years ago.The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame has become a joke these days because they'll induct anybody, they should just change the name to ANY AND ALL KIND OF MUSIC HALL OF FAME.
Now that the R&R Hall finally got it right w Priest, let’s move toward inducting Maiden. It took them decades to induct Deep Purple, Kiss and Rush. They are a stubborn bunch. I hope they realize that they need to avoid the inevitable and induct Maiden before they are ridiculed (as they have been in the past for taking so long to induct some of the most influential artists in music history).
You cut out the part when the Great KK gave a shout out to the Late Great proven innocent Dave Holland. KK is a msn of true Class who does not forget his real Friends. All Hail KK.🫡🫡😎😎😎
The RRHOF picks line-ups, this is the most well known line-ups, the Rob Halford years. They could induct the Tim Owens line-up, but doubtful. But they do not tend to induct multiple front men line-ups, just one at a time.
Why was Richie left out? He was off to the side as the other guys accepted their awards. I mean yeah he's much younger and was in the band for eleven years at that point but come on at least give him some type of attention.
THIS was LONG overdue!!!
I can't lie... I shed a tear watching this! The Mighty Priest... have been a part of my life since I was a nipper... Downing and Tipton are guitar gods! They have and always will be one of THE BEST Heavy Metal Bands in the world!

Pathetic !
Good to see Les Binks in there getting some recognition for his great work with Priest..
My first concert was Judas Priest warming up Kiss in late 70's. They have been with me my whole life. Long live Judas Priest!
I was there for this award show to see KK
Was absolutely wonderful to see him accept this award!
Much love to KK Downing 💯🖤

They've been delivering the goods for over 50 years 🤘
Loves for one of the best drummers in the world! Les Binks!
What an emotional moment. A grand recognition of this legendary band.
I love especially Rob coming out brave and presenting as what he is: a brilliant gifted human being.

The Priest

Great really..❤
As big as they are, they have never forgotten their fans. Metal Gods who are humble, and STILL rule!
Rob you fantastic and rest of JudasPriest. Thanks for all great music. Love You.
Ken, the band was never the same without you, and I've been going to Priest concerts since Hell Bent for Leather/Killing Machine tour here in the States...Cheers
Love Ian HIll. The Rock of the band. In most live videos he doesn't get much of a look in. Priest have been metalling my head since the early 80's.
First saw these guys in the early 80's, man they lit the world on fire. Going to see them in a few days again, still burning down arenas. 😀
I had no idea that was Glen. Parkinson’s has done a lot of damage, but I’m so glad he was able to make it on stage and play with them for this event. He is an amazing guitarist. Love Rob speech ! He is Amazing!
First saw Priest in 1979 on the Killing Machine tour at Birmingham Odeon 🇬🇧 just brilliant
Priest finally got inducted. There is justice in the world now and again.
Well deserved, no matter what people say, this band has style, better than most British bands, in fact the best and my favorite band.
Thank you 70's - 80's and 90's.
That is a lost time, but not sound.
Salute to all of you
I see you in Italy in the 1988 at Florence, Ram It Down Tour.
A group of fans, we left Bologna by car with the tour poster stuck on the back window.
Great! The best metal band in the world!
JUDAS PRIEST FOREVER 💪🏼💪🏼👆👆👆🎸🎸🎸🎸🍻🍻🍻🇪🇦🇪🇦

One of my favorite bands for many many year, saw them live a few times...they are on my top 3, aligned with Maiden and Dream Theater!!!

Seen Priest once, one of the best shows i have ever seen 💥🤘🤘
This is the band I saw most live. They never disappointed.
Gotta say another thing...That's the most i have seen Ian moved in years 🤣🤣
Rock forever ❤
Rob Halford I don't care about your politics your a great singer and that that!
Nice that they brought back the past members for the event, regardless what happened in the past. Take that, AC/DC.
Great Speeches
Priest were so great.....They are so leather..
The Metal Gods. 🤘🏼 Nuff said
Greetings to all Metal Maniacs from Germany.
Oh yes Rob, 50th years of HEAVY FUCKING METAL!!!!
they are the REAL article....and before 'Priest' NO ONE knew what a metal-god was. Now, we throw around that tag like its been around for a million yrs. SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAMING!
Screeeeaming for vengeance!
Yes they should induct the sweet pioneers of metal
Легенды!!!
Comencé a seguirles tras oír el Sin after Sin en los años 85. Para mí, si no son los padres del Heavy Metal, son sus tíos.. ; )
Rob is the best ❤
Rob, I love you 🤘
My support++++++++
the LGBQ needs to follow Rob and Elton's way of life. no agendas, no shoving their lifestyle down anyone's throats, just being normal people.
Add Freddie Mercury to the list.

Ian Hill... holding the beat from the very beginning.
Kk ❤❤
Ian hill great bass player and always with J.P
Where was Tim Ripper Owens ??
Was looking for him too..m
Nobody cares about him. The worst years of Priest.
Well deserving
I remember when my friend told me Rob Halford was gay.
My immediate reaction was:
"No way!"
Now im a better man for excepting everyone. We ain't gonna kick him out of the band!
Hell yeah
METAL GODS \m/
Ian did a base interview on youtube..very good

Halford: "I'm the gay in the band".
Me: "I'm the bisexual in your Fandom".
YOU ROCK!!!
I kneel in deep reverence before these people.
And the Black Country Flag on Rob’s back, Yam Yam’s forever.
Esta banda si es Rock, hay otros artistas que no son del género y entraron primero.

Judas😱😱😱😱😱😳😲😲
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🤘🤘🤘
Come on kk must rejoin ... any body agree....
Yes. Me too.
Priest \m/
But where is Ripper?
There is no Judas Priest without KK
🍁
You cut out the part when the Great KK gave a shout out to the Late Great proven innocent Dave Holland. KK is a msn of true Class who does not forget his real Friends. All Hail KK.🫡🫡😎😎😎
100% agree. KK always comes across well.
And dare i say it, was the member of the band who i always mostly saw AS Judas Priest!
Самые лучшие в хеви метал 😂
And Tim Riper ???
The RRHOF picks line-ups, this is the most well known line-ups, the Rob Halford years. They could induct the Tim Owens line-up, but doubtful. But they do not tend to induct multiple front men line-ups, just one at a time.
Why did they position the microphone as if they were 150 centimeters tall? Lol😂
Ian speaks ? Lol
ritchie should have been inducted also
Richie todo un "señor"
METAL GODS FOREVER 🤘👽
Why was Richie left out? He was off to the side as the other guys accepted their awards. I mean yeah he's much younger and was in the band for eleven years at that point but come on at least give him some type of attention.
Has Hill ever had the spotlight on him and has he ever had a solo bass part?
ruclips.net/video/sB_V2myq6As/видео.html
Love Bites, Revolution, and The Rage
His best bass work is Run of the mill from Rocka Rolla album
Sorry but the RRHOF is a joke.
Motorhead is next in the hall if it was nt for them there would no iron maiden or metallica
